Well . women police do give the third degree treatment to women criminals but not without serious proof and unless instructed by superiors . For instance , a woman who has burnt her bahu , and bahu is in hospital and gives statement to police that her saas and nanand did it , then yes , perhaps the saas and nanand will be given some third degree in the lock up . Or if the woman criminal is found with drug smuggling evidence .

Just verbal harassment will perhaps give u a night in jail if FIR is lodged , where u can go in the morning after bribing the police officer and asking him to ' settle ' the case outside . If u ask me..........in Savitas case they will give her three four thappads for harassing Archu in public places , they wont use the danda on the legs . Just by reading the update, I can just imagine the torture Manav and his family faced in prison. I find it ridiculous that they would be treated this way. The cops didn't even bother speaking to Archana, they just started their torture. Ekta has gone too far!
