Says a source, "Gaurav was the original choice for the wild card entry but he refused to come back once he saw Rumpa getting involved with Hitesh. During his eviction, Rumpa was so unhappy that she had even proposed marriage to him. As this seemed like a love story waiting to finish, the production house approached Gaurav to re-enter the show.
But he decided to have a word with Rumpa only to realise she was now getting closer to Hitesh, so he decided to step down. Gaurav had apparently told her he would like to meet her outside Perfect Bride so that the two could know each other better but Rumpa didn't miss him much and got into a relationship with Hitesh as soon as Gaurav was ousted. Apparently, Rumpa and Hitesh stand stronger chances to win the show."
