In order to keep a forum running and a success, it is important to have a lot of member interaction. I know IF has done a lot to keep the members interacted via games and other forms. I thought it would be a nice idea to have member awards from time to time. Ex: Nicest member, Cutest member, Sweetest Member, Best Sig/Avi Maker, Biggest SRK fan, etc. It would be a very nice way to interact with all the members and get to know more about the members. I had approached a few people regarding this matter but didn't get a response yet, so just thought it would be better to create a topic on it. And also since we have fabulous avi/sig makers the winners for each category at the end of the award nominations would get a personalized siggy made by the sig makers. I would really love to see annual IF member awards sometime in the near future. As stated before a forum cannot run without people! Members deserve to be recognized from time to time!!!

Idea is awesome !!! But best SRK fan ??? then we will have to have such awards for 100 's of actors. I guess there should be some unique and different categories !!! 😃

:) The Crazy Creatives are looking into member awards for I-F.

The only problem is, it's kind of hard to generalize some categories with this many people on our forum. Also, it'd be very time consuming for people (most likely us CC's) who would be hosting it.

Then again, it's an amazing suggestion! We'll definately put in a word or two about this... I would personally love to see it happen, as long as I'm not the person behind the scenes spending a countless number of hours working on the post/nominations/awards. haha

I agree but how about we rather have sub-forum awards.

For example.

Mjht,lnmdj,dmg forum hav a certain group of people,so we can give awards to them.

Whole IF would be very big to handle @ one time 😆

I completely agree , the respected DT members should organise the event in their own section. That way it would be easy to handle as well as all memebrs will get a chance !!! 😃

I am getting shivers just reading this love. If this does happen let me know in advance. I have to go on hibernation during that time...😕

On a serious note it would be tons of work. We will need a better system, only CCs can't handle such thing. After nomination there must be a voting part also.

As i said the CC's can work in co-ordination with the DT members. Even u can take help from members who are active in a particular section, so that they can help u out if its too much of work. I guess organising awards for members is really a nice idea and it will also help increase activity in the forums !!! 😃

Hey guys...Well if we can get a lot of volunteers to help out with the awards I don't think it will be too much of a hassle to pull this off...Yes each section should have their own awards like you guys mentioned but I still think we should have a whole IF member awards at least once every year...and that way it will keep the members active and allow a lot of member interaction. Like maybe an IF end of the year awards with so many various categories to chose from. And then people can vote and at the deadline we can just count up the votes and have a little surprise for them. And for all this to be a success we need a lot of volunteers and stuff. If we can't get that, then yes it will be hard to pull this off...But I'm sure a lot of people will be willing to help. And its only once every year...It shouldn't be that hard should it? Well I'm only giving a suggestion, the rest is up to you all! =)
