Vidya's Paa gifts her: Vidya Balan was gifted a Merc E 350 by her doting dad, P R Balan. Though the actress had set her sights on the vehicle earlier, she had put off the decision to buy it to a later date as she was busy with her film promotions. Her parents who usually avoid the media glare were seen at the screening of Paa and after watching the film, they fell in love with their daughters restrained performance. Knowing her desire to buy the Merc, her father booked the car for her asap.

Saw the movie yesterday, and I couldn't take my eyes of Vidya!

She looks so gorgeous in the film...especially when she is in Sari's...and her performance is just out of the world! What a superbly talented actress! Its such a shame that she doesn't have enough star power to match her acting ablities!

But the woman is just too good in Paa! Her chemistry with Amitabh Bacchan is just god awesome!

Also, it is really refreshing to see a hindi film heroine as independent, courageous, bold and non-whiny! Vidya plays an Alpha-woman without losing an inch of her feminity!

I am completely bowled over by her peformance! I really hope she wins a couple of awards for this! It will be most well-deserved!

^^ i know even rajeev masand said that she should get an award or atleast a nomination she's way too good paa just shows that give her a role with substance and she 's gonna blow u over am glad she chose paa after the duds she should stick to these films and she'll be on the top now we have ishqiya to look forward too and she looked fab in the promo with naseer and arshad am really lookign forward to that too only for vidya
