loll but it has nothing to do with Sushant .. if u watch him n kis desh as Preet, he's totally fine, very outgoing, funny, sometimes serious too ..
the way he talks and behaves here is a part of Manav, and I think he's doing justice to this character ..

I dont think is girlish at all... its the charc=acter the characters which u r talking about are way diffrent to Manav.. dev NRI alone son of his mother belong to rich family... Shekhar son of thakur who always went against his father.. n on other hand Manav step son os cruel mother who had whole family to look out.. didnt go against ne1 always believed in staying wid family no matter wat comes.. n Sushant plays the character very well. as said if u want his other side den see one of the epi of kis des as preet...
BUt i dont think Manav is girlish is ne ways he is soft spoken...
