I wish that all you girls meet a guy like Yash who fools around with you for 6 weeks and then leaves you because his Mom cannot see you as her bahu :-)

There would be something very wrong with ME ,if I expect a guy to overlook his mom of 25 years for someone he has known less than 2 months.

Been there. I would highly question a guy if he was willing to overlook his mom because of me. Who knows how he will deal with me when he disagrees.

I adore Yash, and thanks 😊 I would consider myself extremely lucky to find a guy like him. I hate guys with drama. I hate people who don't have anything better to do than go into their personal business. Yash and his mother suit me just fine. They are mature, sensible, like to be respected 😊

And if my to be mother in law found a flaw in me I would do my utter best to change for the better. If that change is not possible I wouldn't get mad her and lash out.

well I wouldnt marry a guy either who leaves his old relationships for a new ne because no guarantee if he will stick to me later on or not.....

HOWEVER

I woul dhate him if he started a fling with me just for fun and then stepped back because his parents do not agree...... he should have known earlier what he was doing..........

Totally what I mean to say. Every one has a right to make their own decisions, but it should have been done in the first week itself then. If Mom did not see Gurpreet as a bahu, no problem Yash should not have touched her, shared the same icecream, sang the love song for her, not told her that she is gorgeous and should not have given her hopes. That is my point. Also, in one of the conversations with the other guys he mentioned that he has had girlfriends before.....so will I marry Yash....NEVER!!! Today if he listens to his Mom and leaves his girlfriend, tomorrow his Mom may say something and he will leave his wife. Where does the girl stand in his life? Why would you want to marry a spineless guy? If he had a spine, when his Mom made him talk to other girls and not Gurpreet, he should have taken a stand and talked to Gurpreet too. I am sure Gurpreet would have felt better. Any girl would like if her man stands and talks for her. SO YASH IS GOOD ON TV BUT NOT IN REAL LIFE....HE SLEEPS AND IS ALWAYS IN HIS DREAMS. I HAVE NO IDEA WHY HE CAME ON THE SHOW.... JUST TO SLEEP? MAYBE HE LOST HIS JOB AND NEEDED TO MAKE SOME MONEY :-)

Well he did try to convince his mom for gurpreet and he didn't leave her just because his mom didn't see gurpreet as her bahu. He saw gurpreet's other side 😡 in the gala round and realized that she is not his girl.

I agree. But the whole point of dating is to figure out if the person suits your or not, to know if the person is right or wrong for you. Yash said Gur was perfect for him. When his mom was making him talk to Nandita and Pooja he said the same thing.

Then Gur insulted his mother. Any sane guy who has respect for his mother would not find a girl

who insults his mother on stage in public suitable.

Yash ended it well. He never called it love and till Gur's reentry neither did she call it love.

If saying No is not an option then why date? Just get married right away. What's the point of getting to know each other and all that.

Yash was not playing with Gurprit. He gave her absolute undivided attention even knowing his mother doesn't like her too much. He didn't realize how bad it was, but even when his mother said there is no chance of her liking Gur he tried to reason with her. And he wanted his father's opinion. Which to me seemed like he was ready to convince his mom.

This is for the original post. I don't yell at my elders, but if i did. I respect the guy who would leave me because of my bad behavior.

If you like a guy and the guy likes you and after 6 weeks his Mom says I don't see you as my Bahu. End it now....would you not have a right to ask why? Where do I lack? What is wrong in me? What can I change so I can be your bahu? Can you talk to your son? and the answer given is No need to talk to my son....I will make the decision and I just don't see you as my Bahu. You may not greet my guests. Will you not find the reason weird? If it was Rumpa or Priyanka. They would say Okay.....Rumpa may go for Hitesh and Priyanka may go for Yash. But Gurpreet did not do that. Both Rajbir's Mom and Vivek's Mom like Gurpreet as their Bahu. So you think other Moms are dumb and only Yash's Mom is the smart one? This is what it is. Yash's Mom already had set her eyes on Nandita not because of how she is but because she was a doctor. It is more of pride that I have a doctor bahu. Then she should have told Yash right in the beginning, I like Nandita and Puja. Nobody else will be my bahu. Gurpreet would have fallen for some other guy then. In all this Yash is to be blamed. Not Yash's Mom. If he knew he cannot take a stand and make decision, he should have asked Mom which wife should I select like a puppet. It is sad that Moms select wife for their son even in this day and age and then these sons go out and drink and booze and have extra marital relationships because they did not marry girl of their choice and are not compatible. This is the situation of arranged marriages in India.

😕😕 Do you know him personally? The guy has a job, and he is also quite active in sports etc. His mother mentioned he is very mischevious and Yash said he learned to live freely from his dad. Doesn't sound like a lazy guy who sleeps all the time.

What did you expect him to do on the show when his choice of girl " nandita" was out and there was a no one left. he didn't like vrinda, he knew his mom didn't like Rumpa, Pooja and Pri were taken and Gur was not an option. Sleeping is much much better than what Hitesh and Vivek were doing.

His mother is very sensible, not to mention sankskari. I doubt she would tell her son to kick yash out. She had never once went back on words in the show. The first day she said she wants a bahu who knows how to respect elders, who is not blunt in giving an answer. She stuck with that. She also mentioned she doesn't care her bahu would live with her son.

Did you skip the parts when Yash's mother said in simple terms I want a bahu who wouldn't give me a quick answer..meaning she wouldn't be blunt. The lady was too nice. She should've just come out and say loud and clear I want a respectable bahu and not someone who is so blunt and insensitive.

Yash's mother gave Gurprit a chance. She said Gurprit changed for two days and then went back to her old ways.

Let bygones be bygones. 😊 You didn't like Yash that's fine. There are a lot of people who still Yash and will like Yash. Not everyone wants the same type of people. Everyone has a different set of priorities. if my brother was even engaged to a girl who treated my mother the way Gur reacted toward yash's mother I would tell him to break all ties with her or break all ties with me.

Disagreements happens. I don't expect saas bahu relationship to go without little nokjhoks, but if a girl who can be so blunt before becoming bahu I don't want to know what will happen once she is in the house.
