So, here we get to see how Mohit's parents are-- def not what we expected. Mohit's mom is money-minded, rude , shrewd and Mohit's dad seems awkwardly naive. So, I have a feeling that Nandini's love for Mohit will actually result in marriage but the terms of marriage will be diff....like Mohit 's father is in huge debt and Mohit's mothers seems to love money , and here the Singhanias are eager to get Nandini married off but its not happening bcoz of Nandini's leg , so, may be Mohit's parents are going to take huge dowry to get Mohit married to Nandini. Mohit might not know until the marriage is over and after that he is not able to say anyhting bcoz the money-lenders would have already taken the money.
So, its gonna be a mixed affair-- nandini's love for Mohit, Nandini's leg problem, Mohit's parents, and their money problem -- all this might eventually end up with MOHDINI.

Otherwise, there are was no need of such a sudden entry of Mohit's parents.
