its understandable its his first bollywood movie, and he is only describing the techniques, which were good, but it lacked soul thats wat most people feel, and he is not reviewer, he seems like a regular guy who is just describing the movie, but i am impressed even a flop movie can put such an impact on a foreigner, and yeh the acting was good

Apart from his slightly humorous way of speaking, I'm pretty happy with the way this guy 's reaction.
When my friends went to watch it, they said there was this older American man sitting next to em watchign it, adn when they asked hiim how he liked it, he said, "to be honest, the best I've seen this year".
i was like, woah, lol

^^my desi mates saw it too, they liked it too, including my cousins..youngest being at age 15..except for one of them, but she's very picky in movies..she didn't even enjoy new moon, i mean c'mon it was new moon for petes sake!
i'm not sure where you are from, but i know down canada (since i've been there many times) desi movies are not played in the same cinema as hollywood flicks..so i guess gore in that sense are not 'as much' aware of the desi movies playing (so i was quite interested to get such an insight into kurbaan by that dude above)..where as here in london, desi and hollywood flicks are played together in almost all the major cinemas..which is fun, cos then now all my gore mates know about desi movies more :D

Oh wow, haha!

Really? No still here, there's a divide. I know of two movies before Kurbaan playing in the american theaters this year. KI and Kaminey.
And now Kurbaan joins the list! I'm glad. I have a feeling that Amerians, Canadians, UKians, basically ppl abraod would enjoy it a lot more.
In India, mindless comedies are pulling in the crowds, lol

Umm...coz the guy was sitting next to em? And they asked?
I've made conversation with ppl in theaters before as well. Its not that big a deal.
And wait...how does being "Blind" and "Deaf" tie into this? I can hear and see, so can my friends, so can that random white guy. Who's blind. Who's deaf. Now I'm confused. Bringing in disabilities here, lol
