OK, I like Bhairavi being yelled @, given her unhinged behavior ever since she returned from her self-imposed exile.
But I disagree w/ the reasoning here. CM has heard from Pankaj how Jyoti has to accept the salary from Shishumangal, since that's what her maakya lives on. So let's put on her thinking cap: she logically assumes that the family now has their regular mouths to feed, plus Uday, and so she doesn't want Uday to be sponging off his sasural. Therefore, despite her anger at him, she sends the cash for him.
Now, one could very credibly make a case that this concern is fraudulent, since if CM genuinely felt embarrassed @ Uday sponging off his in-laws, she'd not only recall him, but Sudha as well, since Sudha is now a part of her family, like it or not, and taking Sudha in would really reduce the financial burden on the Sharmas. So far, she hasn't. So she doesn't deserve the empathy that I've apparently shown her above, but let's not pretend that Padma was on more solid ground than CM.
When I originally saw the precap, I thought that Padma had found out about Bhairavi trying to 'reverse-pimp' Sudha i.e. bribe her to leave Uday, as opposed to pimping, which would be to bribe her to have sex w/ someone else. Had that been the case, the outrage would have been more appropriate. But a rich family offering their poorer relatives money isn't necessarily an in-your-face insult, and done right, can actually be appreciated as a genuine gesture of generousity. Granted that such a motive currently can't be assigned to CM.
What I didn't get from the segment was whether the other Vashisths were shocked @ Padma's rant, or actually CM's originally sending cash for Uday.
