Judge asks who is the lawyer of the defendant?Evryone is tensed and Gursheel and Goldie are happy as there is no one. Just then, Siddhanth Chaudhary (played by actor Diwakar pundir who is also acting in Starone serial Jaane pehchaane se yeh ajnabi) walks in and says I will be the lawyer for the defendant. Everyone turns to look. Siddhanth says I will fight in this case for them. Bebo and Amrit are happy. Siddhanth Walks in the court. Judge is also surprised to see him in court after so many years. Siddhanth gives his practice certificate to the judge and says on behalf of Mr. Kuku Narang and Mrs. Amro Narang, I am filing this case. Gursheel and Goldie are tensed.
Siddhanth gives the case file to judge. He then turns to take a seat and sees Bebo and Amrit thanking him with Bebo joining her hands in thankfulness. Gursheel's lawyer leans forward and taunts Siddharth by saying very bad thing happened to Siddhanth. I thought he will never enter the court again. Siddhanth is listening and is tensed. Police inspector whispers to the constable that Gopal, this is the lawyer that they got. It is mere formality as he will not be able to do anything. Prosecution lawyer whispers to his colleague, that siddhanth is an odd man. First he came in the court to fight against those who had burn and now he has come to fight for those who had done so. Siddhanth Listens everything and is tensed.
Judge gives Siddhanth permission to proceed. Siddhanth rises and says your honour, before I begin the proceedings of the case, I want to say two things in the court. First, I want to apologize to the court for arriving late due to unavoidable circumstances and secondly, I didn't get any chance to meet my clients Mr. Kuku Narang and Mrs. Amro Narang. Before I forward this case, I request you to grant me permission to meet them. Judge grants permission and adjourns the hearing for one hour. The hearing will start again after one hour. Gursheel and Goldie are tensed. Their lawyer assures them that it is nothing to worry about.
Outside the court in the corridor, Bebo and Amrit stop Siddhanth to say Thanks. Bebo says I knew you would come. Siddhanth says how could I have left the second chance that time has given me. Amrit tries to tell Siddhanth how grateful he is, but siddhanth stops him in mid sentence saying it is nothing.
Just then, Police takes Kuku an Amro in front of them. Siddhanth yells at them to wait so they stop. He says to the inspector that I want to talk to my client alone for one minute. Inspector says ok go ahead, now as you are fighting this case so you must want to talk too. Police and constables leave them. ( Gursheel and Goldie are seen sitting on a bench at some distance) Kuku says to Siddhanth beta believe us we didn't do anything. Siddhanth says I know everything uncleji that you didn't do anything and very soon, the whole world will come to know this. I will try my level best. Amro sees Gursheel and Goldie talking to their lawyer and gets tensed. Siddhanth sees this and asks her Auntie she is your bahu who has put this blame on you. He says I know auntie ji you want to ask her why she has done this. Amro is silent. He says I will ask her. He tells Bebo to call him on his mobile after exact 5 minutes. He goes to Gursheel and Goldie.
Gursheel sees Siddhanth coming towards them. She instructs Goldie to make her face tensed and not answer any of his questions. Siddhanth goes to Gursheel and introduces himself as Kuku Amro's Lawyer. Gursheel says you must have got lots of money to take up this case. Rich people can do anything in this country. They can win in this court on basis of their wealth but what will happen in that court (She points her finger up) where they have to answer afterwards. See, how badly they have treated my delicate sister. She starts Crying and Siddhanth offers his handkerchief to her. Gursheel accepts it and wipes her eyes. Siddhanth asks Goldie how long have you been married? Gursheel says whatever my sister has to say, she will say in court. Siddhanth says ok the, you can give answers to my questions. Gursheel says why should I say anything? I don't want to say anything. Siddhanth says that means you know the depth of legal matters.
Just then Maro comes to them and without looking at siddhanth she started telling her story that how she fooled the rickshaw driver and gave him only 25 rupees. Gursheel beckons her to look at Siddhanth and shut her mouth but Maro is not listening. However, Siddhanth notices Gursheel doing this. Siddhanth asks maro who is she? Maro tells him that she is Gursheel and Goldie's mother. Gursheel turns and says to siddhanth that I told you we do not want to say anything. Siddhanth says I wanted to say that this matter can be solved outside the court. Gursheel, Goldie and Maro are little tensed.
Just then, a call comes on Siddhanth's mobile (the call is from Bebo) Siddhanth pretends that the call is from his another client Mr. Pandey who is involved in murder case. He advises him to go for out of court settlement. He says a settlement can be arranged if Mr. Pandey is willing to give 10 crore rupees. Gursheel, Goldie and Maro are listening to all this. Maro is gaping her mouth when she listens the amount 10 crore. When Siddhanth ends the call, Maro asks him does one get 10 crore if the matter gets solved outside the court? (Gursheel is glaring at her) Siddhanth says why not, only the party must be willing to give this much money. You people decide if you want to do that to. Gursheel says you didn't understand our matter. We want justice and want the criminals to be punished. We don't need money. Maro tries to say something but gursheel stops her. She says to Siddhanth we don't need anything. Siddhanth says ok as you wish. But think about it once because it is better that the matter gets solved outside the court. So think and Let me know. He begins to walk away slowly. Maro tries to say something about 10 crore but Gursheel tells her to shut up as he is Kuku Amro's lawyer. He came here to know our thoughts but Gursheel is not stupid enough. She and Goldie sends Maro back.
Gursheel says to Goldie that Kuku Amro's lawyer is really clever. He wants us to take up 10 crore. What he does not know that once these people gets jailed, the whole property will belong to us. Goldie says did this lawyer is really clever. Gursheel says lets see what is the caliber of this Siddhanth Chaudhary.
In the court, Siddhanth says Your honor, I want to request for bail grant for Mr. and Mrs. Narang. He gives the bail papers to judge. He says your honor, my clients are completely innocent and it will be proved in this court in some days. But till then, I would like the court to grant them bail because they are not hardcore criminals. They are respected in the society. They have other two bahus who have had no complaints against them till today. And this is a mere blame, for which it will against the law if they are put in the lock up. Gursheel's lawyer objects and says that he is saying that his clients are respectable but he is not telling that they are wealthy too. These people will try their might to turn this case in their favor. It will be dangerous to let such people out on bail. Siddhanth says my colleague is right in saying that my clients are rich and respected but I want to ask him that if my clients wanted they would not have passed those two days in lockup. They would have utilized their money to save themselves. (Gursheel's lawyer sits down) Siddhanth requests the court to take Kuku amro's bail plea in consideration. He says I want to teel the court something about Kuku Narang through which it will be proved that they must be granted bail.
He says Kuku didn't get the money from inheritance. All his wealth is his hard earned money. I want to tell the court where Kuku spent his money. He shows a file which has the evidence that Kuku is the founder of many charitable institutions and gives lots of money to charity. Siddhanth says I know my client did not want to divulge the information of his charitable work which he does anonymously. He asks permission to call certain witnesses who will also tell what helpful and good people Kuku and Amro are.
Gursheel and Goldie are tensed and they tell their lawyer Mr. chawla to say something. Chawla gets up and says sir, siddhanth has not practiced law for many years. That is why he is forgetting that witnesses can only be called when the case is registered in the court. Siddhanth says I admit your honor that I have forgotten certain things after being out of practice for so many years, but how can my colleague who is in practice forgot that he cannot interrupt me when I am presenting my statement. Judge says that Mr. Chawla is right. You cannot present witness at this stage. Siddhanth says I am requesting for bail for my client for whom police has requested 21 days remand. You also know, how difficult it is for a respected man to spent one day in lockup. Law itself states that it is injustice to give punishment to person unless his blame is proved. Judge gives permission to call witness. Siddhanth calls some village women who tell the court that Kuku and Amro has made hospital and school in their village. Siddhanth gives papers to judge to prove the witnesses were genuine. He says people who give money for other girl's marriages cannot burn their own bahu. My colleague is saying that they are rich people and will try to turn case in their favor but my lord, I believe that they are suffering because of their wealth. I request the court to dismiss police's remand application and grant bail to them.
Goldie and Gursheel are extremely tensed.
