Dear fans of Miley Jab Hum Tum,

I am addressing everyone here as a Whole Group! Not just Sajan fans or Mayur fans, but ---- All fans of this show. I address those who are here on the forum, and those that have left the forum as well.

I would like you to all think of the following questions and my idea that I have proposed below.

Questions:

1) Has MJHT lost it's charm that it began with?

a) Think about Characterization
b) Think about Plots
c) Think about Dialogues
d) Think about the Goals this show had, and they are at this current time

2) What are things that Made you watch MJHT?
3) Can College Campus be expanded -- but not lose it's charm?
4) What Plots have creatives not explored?
5) What is your college life like, or was --- do you relate to it?

Can you add your experiences to MJHT for the concepts we plan to create?

As a loyal fan, I admire each cast member, the jodis *including the new entries.

I would like to request everyone to think of ideas to improve MJHT, and not get Biased away in Jodi fighting.

Screen space would be equal as I will be gathering some fan-fic writers to help create a story line for 4 -6 months down the road. I need them to take into account what the current track is..and then enhance and add upon our ideas.

Please support me and the everyone who watches it..as a true MJHTian..Not only 1 Jodi fan.

Please write your ideas here and if you want to take part in joining the writers club that i wish to create then pm me. We should aleast have minimum 5 writers team who communicate and build the story line.

all-rounded writer ( 2 ppl minimum)

Sajan writers ( 3ppl)
Adha raj- suhani writers (3ppl)

we want minimum of 5 writers in general. we want each story not to get Biased or out of sync. that is why more writers more opinions more tracks more details..

remember this is Whole MJHT story we writing for 4-6 months advance -- not just for mayur..so that is why
we need specialists form each jodi's paradise/mansion who are the hard core fans to write the jodis' track
while all rounders cover..the other side characters & jodis.

Brilliant Post Avani. Will just get back with my thoughts on this. I would definitely like to join the Writer's Club

Questions:

1) Has MJHT lost it's charm that it began with?

a) Think about Characterization :
Yes, MJHT Has certainly lost it's charm. More than attracting viewers, it seems to be losing out on viewers. TRPs are the proof for that. The original characters have been long lost. Gunjan's character is completely destroyed, and same goes with Nupur. And to an extent, even mayank and Samrat. Nupur was supposed to be bubbly, filmy, yet intelligent and smart at the same time. The filmy element is there, but what about the intelligent element? Are they showing Nupur to be so dumb that she can't even pronounce Thermo Dynamics? They are showing her to be insensitive at times, and sometimes too sensitive. There is no proper balance in her character. She definitely has been changed completely. Mayank is always on-off character. During the locket fiasco, he wasn't being Mayank. The Mayapari cut outs wasn't Mayankish either. Talent Parade, Salsa Rehearsals, Beach scenes, that is Mayank. The no-nonsense guy. Gunjan has turned into a samrat obsessed girl. Her day begins and ends with Samrat. She should even be shown focusing on studies, since she's the intelligent one. Samrat no longer seems to be like the cool dude. Fine, he loves Gunjan now, so he'd not flirt around, but Samrat is the kinds who wouldn't sit in class. He would be the ones bunking lectures and playing Basket Ball instead. Uday is being dumber than he ever was. The only change that is acceptable is the change in Dia's character. Her character has grown, not been butchered.
b) Think about Plots-
The plots have never been good. The Talent Parade, Exam tracks, Academic meet tracks were the best. Even the RJ hunt track was fun. But tracks like Sheee-na, RV, Locket Fiasco, Pool Party, RV's cheap revenge from Dia, and now, the current Babloo track wasn't needed. The Morena track only proved worthwhile because of SaJan's confession. The current Brother-sister track is good, but the chaotic situations they're showing are lame. They need a strong track, and focus on all characters individually. The MayUr Bangalore track could have been handled in a much better way, but it wasn't done. Instead of bringing in two new entries, they could have first worked on bringing back the lost charm.
c) Think about Dialogues -
Dialogues. Cheesiness is always a part of them. They need to get rid of cheesy dialogues. What with dialogues like PhoolMati, and Dialogues like kabhi mere ghar aajana, mein tumhe seeti bajana sikha doonga, this show only gets lamer by the day. It would be fun if dialogues like Mayank's sarcastic dialogues, Samrat's cool-dude dialogues were brought back. They should really talk like college students, and not like some love struck puppies.
d) Think about the Goals this show had, and they are at this current time
MJHT had a target to attract youth, since it said clearly that this is a youth show, and that there are six leads. Now no one is even sure as to who the leads are. MJHT has definitely not been able to achieve which it could have.

2) What are things that Made you watch MJHT?
The thing that got me hooked to this show was MayUr. They were unique. They were really unpredictable. We had not seen anything like them in any other show, and so they always stood out. And MJHT was fun to watch, cause it had everything. College, masti, professors, and almost every thing. It was not monotonous. And it focused on all aspects of college initially. But now the only thing they seem to be focusing on is love.
3) Can College Campus be expanded -- but not lose it's charm?
Yes it can. If handled properly, then the college campus can definitely be expanded, and still not lose its charm.
4) What Plots have creatives not explored?
The creatives never bothered to explore characters on an individual basis. A lot could have been done with the MayUr track, like showing some emotional bonding, whereas SaJan could have been given subtle romance. They really need to explore their characters more, and create suitable tracks for the respective couples.

Questions:

a) Think about Characterization
In the first few months of the show, there was a definite progression in the way characters evolved and we could see the way one character influenced the other. This was one thing which made me stick with the show for more than a quarter of an year. It was delightful to see people shedding their outer shells, people breaking other people's walls and basically changing the outlook of their lives. It was celebration of life at its best.
After few months, I found certain aspects of changes to be silly and downright idiotic and at times the character's' behavioral change to be completely drastic and almost unbelievable. It is hard to keep up with the changes and the mood swings and the erratic nature of the characters and many times going through similar cycles in their lives in same old loops.

b) Think about Plots
What plot? There are no serious plots here. There are simply story arcs and handful of incidents which happens to the characters over a period of time. Gunjan contesting in RJ hunt is not a plot. Working on a drama is definitely not a plot. There is no solid ground based on which the story is built. No, wait. There was a tiny plot - small town girls discovering themselves in the city, understanding bias and prejudice, seeing world in a different perspective. By looking at the way the series progressed, apparently I am wrong about it.

c) Think about Dialogues
Nothing great, I suppose. A few episodes were really great with ample sum of humor, emotions and casual ones thrown in but after a while it gets repetitive. I am not a fan of monologues but this series has way too many of it. Why talk about every tiny little feeling that the character is going through? Allow them to show it in storyline or incidents or even a debate. Talking nonstop about it just makes it boring.

d) Think about the Goals this show had, and they are at this current time
I am really not sure what the original intent of the producers of the show was. Maybe it was just a feel good -collage kids story and seeing them growing out of their adoloscent ways and becoming adults. Or maybe it was something else. I do not know.
Currently, it looks like they are deviating from whatever they had in mind. I understand, know and have experienced complications as a part of college experience but the shift between their mature and immature acts gives me serious whiplash. When things got serious, the entire scene shifted back to the girls' hometown. I still don't have logical reasoning for that.
Goals keep changing and it has to for a long running show and for an exciting life. But the transition and reasonings behind the change in route is not explained or not even attempted to infuse into the story arc.

2) What are things that Made you watch MJHT?
Honestly because I had nothing else to do and accidentally chanced upon an early episode and liked it. It was fresh, characters were new and it had a spunk. I have never really seen much of Hindi serials and I thought it was refreshing change from the mundane of things that are shown on television. The characters were the ones that we see in an average college environment and to an extent I could map those characters to few of friends and peers from college, though not 100% same.

3) Can College Campus be expanded -- but not lose it's charm?
I am guessing you mean by incorporating storyline which does not involve college? If so, I agree and also disagree.
I agree for aspects of lives outside the college, incidents can take place but in the end it should always come back to college itself. But if the characters were to grow, get old and have drastic changes in their life, then I am all for moving out of college scenario.
However, college a is very important ground in this series as this is the most fundamental aspect which is common to all the characters and binds them to one another. Too much of deviation before there is a specific goal and direction, as it was seen in past few months, would defeat the purpose of many characters and their original intent.

4) What Plots have creatives not explored?
Unfortunately, nothing. As a teen drama, there are many aspects - social, economical, political, cultural which could have been addressed. But like any other series, even MJHT got hooked into "love" thing and is stuck there permanently. When there was a competion for which it required two of the best students in college, they came up with silly things. The competitive spirit, the extent people go for a win etc were not even addressed. I know that the characters are important but that should not undermine the power of story telling.
Forgetting all the expcetations, we have not even seen something tangible coming out of classroom sessions; nothing is serious there.

5) What is your college life like, or was --- do you relate to it?
Definitely not like MJHT and 0 relation to what they show. It was cool, like any engineering college is. We had our fun, did our mistakes, crushed on every bike riding guy, ranted on being ragged, snuck from classes, slogged like hell during exams, copied assignments, cut a watermelon instead of birthday cake because everyone was broke, participated in strikes, made political statements, got suspended, got a job on campus, really talked with bestfriend about world outside campus, spent last semister bunking classes and talking about future and everything that an average college going kid would do.
We actually carried backpacks with books and dressed for comfort as classes lasted all day. Our lecturers behaved as adults and taught whatever was in our syllabus. Very un-MJHT like.

Can you add your experiences to MJHT for the concepts we plan to create?
I can, I think. I will have to get back on this.

1) Has MJHT lost it's charm that it began with? MJHT has totally lost its charm, when it started it was full of youthfulness, young, charming and fresh...everything has changed from the wardrobe to their present style of dressing

a) Think about Characterization OMG good one Avani ok to start with in Samrat's case his hairstyle was so different and there was something about him tht was so refreshing, am not saying now its not but hes more mature now..in gunjan's character she was tht shy, intellectual girl but now shes become a lil more filmy which i dont like at all, they need to give her tht mature and not filmy characterisation once again..in mayank's case he was a no-nonsense guy, totally straightforward and a studious person but now its kind of a love sick thing wish they cud bring tht sadooness back and in nupur's case she was sooo filmy , so bubbly and so chirpy , very talkative and always fighting with Mayank but now her character also has become serious and not so filmy any more..i miss old Mayur a lot
b) Think about Plots the plots also were so amazing before the way both stories were progressing it was amazing and now except Adhaani they cant show anything else...and especially in Mayur's story they have totally lost it...and in sajan's story its still a lil better but still tht Suhaani thing is a lil too much
c) Think about Dialogues to be honest i have never been a big fan of the dialouges of this show..they were always like average
d) Think about the Goals this show had, and they are at this current time cant say much about this

Yes, unfortunately, i feel that mjht has lost its charm. I wouldn't say that any of the characters have been 'ruined' but i do feel that the way the characters are being portrayed these days is making them look unrecognisable at times. I feel this the most for Gunjan: sometimes all she does is cry. Although she's being shown a little more cheerful these days but the way her character was shown crying all the time in between made her scenes intolerable. In the earlier days, she used to care for every1, Gunjan and Nupur shared a beautiful bond but now sometimes it looks lik Gunjan hardly understands Nupur anymore and her life revolves around samrat. I would like to see her enjoy and look happy due to reasons other than samrat at times also 😊
Then, Nupur: ok she is supposed to be bubbly, cute, talkative, innocent but intelligent and nice. But, sometimes she is shown to be too stupid and not understanding. There is definitely a warm and caring side to nupur's character that has hardly been explored. She cares a lot for Gunjan but she should be shown worrying for mayank at times too.
Mayank's character has been developed quite well too...the way he cares for Nupur gives a very nice feeling. Just that sometimes he fails to understand her completely. In the initial days, it was ok for him to misunderstand her but now they know each other quite well..and Mayank is very intelligent and a level headed guy, to show him lose complete control wen angry is not something we like 2 watch.
Samrat's character is quite fine. But again, the way he was fooled by RV was not realistic at all. Uday should be shown a little lewss dumber. According to me, Dia's character has been developed the best. I love the way her character has grown. 😳

b) Think about Plots

My favourite plots were the the project, salsa, Jungle, academic meet and drama tracks for MayUr and Talent Parade, Secret Friend, RJ hunt tracks for SaJan. The bro-sis scenes are quite fun to watch too. But the latest track is getting quite chaotic and confusing. We prefer a simpler track. This is too confusing.

c) Think about Dialogues

This is a major concern specially for Mayank n Nupur. The dialogues they were given in intial days and the jungle track/ aca meet were awesome, the best ever in mjht. But in between dialogues like hanso ka joda, aur pyar mein paani ka level nahi dekha jaate were really substandard..we didn't like them at all.
Recently, too many dialogues are being copied 4m DDLJ...it suits nupur but not the others. I mean for normal scenes too, we can sense inspiration 4m ddlj...1ce in a while its ok...but to literally copy most of the time doesn't make us feel too gud.

d) Think about the Goals this show had, and they are at this current time

Well, Mayank was a focussed guy...who knows that he needs to be successful in life 4 his mom. Now, even Nupur is a part of his life n he needs to live for her too. This is still shown as his goal, so thats good. But, it wud b better if he's not shown as a know it all..its too unrealistic. Its not possible for him to be studying law, thermodynamics and advertisement at the same time. Gunjan is also studious but is hardly shown studing these days...!! Nupur, although hates studying, knows its importance sumwhere deep down, she has a whole bunch of other talents which could be explored in a better manner. Samrat, i dnt think can become a basket ball player in the future so his future goals need 2 addressed. Other than this, this is a love story, so cute romantic scenes are always a treat to watch. But, a realistic touch would make it better. Dia and Uday's future should also be given importance 😊

2) What are things that Made you watch MJHT?

MJHT acc 2 me, used 2 b a really fun 2 watch serial. I started watching it coz it helped relax my brain after studyin so hard all day..it was like a stress buster...so entertaining!! Samrat's carefree nature, Gunjan's innocense, Mayank n Nupur cute nok-jhoks, Uday's funny questions, Dia's irritation 😆..it used 2 b soo much fun...benji-nupur scenes, Samrat-Nupur scenes...i loved them. Specially, the Samrat Nupur ice-cream scene..they should be shown hanging out more often...they are a blast together coz both r extroverts 😳

3) Can College Campus be expanded -- but not lose it's charm?

yeah, definitely, but it should be handled in a realistic manner. A balance should be maintained.

4) What Plots have creatives not explored?

What happened to Mayank's dad still remains a mystery. We would like to know how Mayank feels about his dad...a heart to heart conversation between Mayank and Nupur about his dad and goals in life would help strengthen their bond.
We would like to see more fun events...before each n every festival used 2 b celebrated in mjht...we still want 2 see them being celebrated. College functions or other functions...might help bring bak the old mjht excitement.

5) What is your college life like, or was --- do you relate to it?

I just started wid my coll and i feel that college life is a lot of fun...but studies play a major part too...its all about balancing everything. MJHT should focus on studies more.

Can you add your experiences to MJHT for the concepts we plan to create?

As i said i just started so there r not too many experiences, however it wud b fun to watch a really difficult project or assignment being due and the MayUr/SaJan tryin 2 complete it together...😳

well. i started watchin mjht.......becoz back then i thought the cheracters specially mayank & nupur r unique...nupur was someone we never saw on tv before..she was a dreamer...but never afraid of achieving her goals, she was a bit filmy, nautanky, but never un realistic, she used to be a intelligent gal, with presence of mind.........but suddenly they make her all insecured & vulnarable, immature when she fall in love...mayank used to be the serious one....but he too changed....&now he started talkin abt gals in swim suite??which is sooo not him about the others....gunajn.she used to be the talented but shy one ....but now the only thing she can think of is sam....whare r the morena gals who came to mumbai to fulfill their dream?cmon, falling in love don't change ppls basic characteristics... .Sam is the ony character that has grown to some extent from the college prince charming now he become a more matiure person ........even dia.........who was a college diva before.now she lost her charm.....

b) Think about Plots-....
plots loke sheena, rv, locket, etc destroy the shows image........they should use more college related plots .that we used to get before....trip, projects & exams, teachers.....love & romance should be there.......but not this kind like public declaration , shaadi.......etc.( sorry talkin abt mayur issues only, but i guess sajan track is still going pretty good..its just that their confession take such a looooong time)

c) Think about Dialogues-
not much to say, sometimes we get gooddialogues , some times bad,.....specialy this days i can't even understand what this adhiraj & suhani talks....some witty dialogue is still there, but donno for how long..

d) Think about the Goals this show had, and they are at this current time-
what goals they have.....only the show makers can answer...but i used to watch it for college based fun........not for the shaadi talk..public declaration issue,misunderstanding&rona dhona.between couples...this things we can watch in any other shows......

i m sorry.....i watched it only for Mayur.& still watching the show becoz of them.

But i used to like the gang too their masti & fun.......

ya sure, why not..........but college should be a part of it.......or go side by side...i mean if it is shown in proper way....so that theviwers do not hv any problem to connect with the track

okk.....there were many plots that can be used.....like what happen to mayu's dad, why he was such an akdu sadu guy & not friendly to anyone? sam's parents mystry is always there...but i don't like the way it is coming now.....how come suddenly we not getting any plot like ahmedabad trip or talent parade? there can be a college festival, they can alwasy show a group study thing before exam, a n exam can also be shown in a comic way, more projects together, sharing their career plan.and their dream what they want to do in future........even chinky's wedding can be used as a fun track..but they didn't use it.

5) What is your college life like, or was --- do you relate to it?
okk.......my college life was not like mjht , so can't say anything abt that.i watched it coz i fell in love with mayur.....

I didn't watch MJHT in the begining, I start watching it in May/June but I saw all of the old episodes on youtube. I guess you can say that it lost it's charm but not all of it. I mean I always am waiting to watch it after school and always laugh at Dodo, and fall in love watching Mayur and Sajan scenes.

Characterization: I think overall the characterization is good, it works out and doesn't make you that confused as other complications in the story.

Plots: I sometimes thing the plots can be unreasonable and confusing. For example, the whole reason for going to Morena was just Sajan confession, which could've been done in Mumbai too. It just made more complications and was all in all useless. Some plots were good but again, did not work out that well. As much as I hated RV, the whole problem of getting Samrat in trouble and going to jail, was actually good. I mean it made Samrat get this feeling for Gunjan (love) but it also showed that drunk driving will get you in trouble, not because that was the same meaning behind it because Samrat was accused because of it. So it could give a different meaning to the plot that doesn't have to do anything about MJHT.

Dialouges: I think the dialouges of Nupur are better than the others but sometimes they need to stop copying DDLG. I mean "Beti, apni zindagi jeelo", that's so DDLG. The dialouges can get better, but some are pretty good.

Goals: For keeping it a youth show, I don't believe that they kept that goal very well. Not too impressed with the goals.

2) What are things that Made you watch MJHT?

Kind of funny story. I was watching Abhi-Nikki scenes(from Dill Mill Gayye) and accidently click on a scene of Mayank-Nupur where Nupur thought Mayank was on drugs and fell in love with MJHT. So after watching Dill Mill Gayye, I saw the related videos and noticed that day's episode, it was Drama Day. I was really confused at first but it was a Friday so I was able to read through recaps on the Star One website. Ever since, I have watched every episode and never missed it. MJHT's main couples: Mayur and Sajan, bring the masti in my life other than schoolwork. Mayur's constant yet enjoyable fights and Sajan's simple and shy love.
3) Can College Campus be expanded -- but not lose it's charm?

I think it would be able to, but it should relate back to college. But it shouldn't be all love.
4) What Plots have creatives not explored?

I think they should explore the lives of college kids. What I mean is that my sister is in college and she loves going to basketball and football games, but she crams to study for her tests. So they should show that college can be fun but you have to work hard to acheive.
5) What is your college life like, or was --- do you relate to it?
I'm not in college right now, but I know that MJHT doesn't relate to reality anyway whatsoever. I mean, do guys really go all the way to a village just because his girlfriend was mad at him?

Can you add your experiences to MJHT for the concepts we plan to create?

I'm in 8th grade but I still have loads of masti. We sometimes play pranks on our teachers. Well not exactly me, but some guys who are my friends do the most funniest tricks on teachers. It brings those types of laughter moments in our boring school lives. One thing that I don't like about MJHT is that they mainly focus it on love. I really think that they should focus on their study lives again. Life isn't all love. Well right now, we're raising money to help foster children get Christmas presents as their foster parents can't afford it so what I was thinking was that all of Excel Students can help out families in need and by doing that can keep a fundraiser. This way, the viewers can realize that they're all lucky to be able to have a home and be able to have a tv and also, it's showing a good cause. It isn't really a problem in the show, but a problem throughout the world, and us, the veiwers can help. I can't really think of more problems right now, but as I start to think about it, I'll think of more problems.

1) Has MJHT lost it's charm that it began with? Yep, it sure has Avu! Cant believe its the same show which used to be so full on energy, charm, magic & masti. Cant say the same for it anymore, Im thoroughly disappointed!

a) Think about Characterization: Yeah I miss my Old Nupur real BAD, i miss her bubblyness, her filmy dialogues, her nok-jhoks with Mayank, I miss the Old Sajan too, they don't have the same charm they used to have at one time. Their love story is nice, but i think it needs more spice to it. For mayUr , i've always loved their originality, but their track is getting worse by the minute!
b) Think about Plots: Well i think the AdHaani track/plot needs to be removed NOW! its a complete waste of talent. Plots like RV and Sheena's was never required, Plots like the Ahemdabad MN trip was FABULOUS, wish they could bring that BACK!
c) Think about Dialogues: Dialogues, earlier were superbb, like Mayank getting all sarcastic to Nupur & to Chiroo Ji in Ahmedabad 😆 It was fantastic...Even SG dialogues were so cute...thats how the word "Januable" arose...but now..its like Hinglish spoken....With both MN & SG tracks, theres nothing but Cheesiness!
d) Think about the Goals this show had, and they are at this current time: This show had a lot of potential until RV n Sheena came to ruin it all.

2) What are things that Made you watch MJHT? College campus thingie and MayUr's chemistry, their originality, their balanced awesome acting, basically everything about MN attracted me even more to this show.
3) Can College Campus be expanded -- Yeah i guess so, without introduction of newer people
eatives not explored? Mayank's Dad has never even been spoken about. We need his side of the story too. And also they need to give MORE importance to Mayank as a character!

1) Has MJHT lost it's charm that it began with? yes, its not the same anymore..

a) Think about Characterization ..i miss my old mayur..missing ther cute little nok jhoks..masti, both teasing each other..xx

b) Think about Plots Omdzz..first of all..at the moment..am really not liking the new track..this new couple "Adhaani" screenspace should be reduced..although i think sajan track is goin okayy..but what about mayur? wher have they've gone? why dont they ever get any importance? like the locket track..that was actually pathetic..waste of time..just a total filler to move on sajan and sheena's track..then the whole jail track..mayur wer totally sidelined..then we got the shaadi track..which again was pathetic..ther was no need for that..then morena..?? again i would say it was a sajan track (confession)..AGAIN why cant mayur get some importance? i lovedd the TP track and the Ahmedabad track to! Jus bring back those kind of moment..or even track..

c) Think about Dialogues these days the dialogs are getting a bit to cheesy..but start of the show..i lovedd nautanki nupur's dialogs and sarcastic sadu mayank dialogs to..uff those wer the days! although the recent mayur phone convo..dialogs seem quite normal..cute and sweet! not sure abt the rest!

d) Think about the Goals this show had, and they are at this current time for me the show was jus perfect till RV and Sheena entered and now Adhaani! since then mayur have been totally sidelined and ignored!

2) What are things that Made you watch MJHT? Mayur and Mayur only..ther chemistry uff is so cute..they make a perfect jodi!

3) Can College Campus be expanded -- but not lose it's charm? yeh ofcourse..only if its handled well enough!

4) What Plots have creatives not explored? Many..like Samrat's parents, mayanks dad..nupur and gunjan mother..bring back some college masti..with all main six leads! show some college activities..eg..another talent parade, prom night party, study party..etc! i think mostly they should work on mayur..give them alot importance to..mainly mayank! i feel hes the most sidelined charatcer in the show and yet the most important!

5) What is your college life like, or was --- do you relate to it? nothing like my college life!
