He's not, he surrendered pretty clearly. He told Bharti that he couldn't help her at all, and there will be no further communication or relation between them. Moreover, he wouldn't let her try to run away from that place either. He said, 'Tum aisa kuchh nahi karogi Bharti, ab yehi tumhara ghar hai..'

Anyway, I've lost hope. Bharti will have to find her way, she'll have to do this alone, because clearly no one is standing up for her.

See, I dont get this. Instead of being happy that Bharti saved the mother and that she's alive, they're blaming her for everything that happened. 😕 Come on! She saved her! Can't they see that at all!?
