A portrait of British suffragette Emmeline Pankhurst is to be made from a collage of photographs of inspirational woman. Which women would you include? 😉

Manchester-born Emmeline Pankhurst helped develop the National Union of Women's Suffrage Societies which enabled women to secure equal voting rights in the UK.😛

The collage portrait will hang in Manchester's Art Gallery to mark Independent Women's Day and will be made from over 2,000 portraits of other inspirational women.😊

Artist Charlotte Newson says "It really could be anyone - your mother, grandmother, friend, teacher, historical figure or even a contemporary personality."😃

Which woman would you nominate? What is it about that woman that inspires you? In what ways are women today inspirational?😃

Hmm...no particular woman comes to my mind. Someone who doesn't only expect to be treated equally to a man but also treats herself equally to the way she treats a man.

Mom....Grany....Teachers....Mother Theresa...Diana...My Sis....Aunties...Cosins...Some actress....collegues....G. friends....friends Gf's ....and ........😉😃

On a more serious note, I do believe I inspire myself, but my mother inspires me as well in some ways. No the classic answer of I am inspired by my mum No! Definitely not! I mean inspire in ways as, she makes me believe at times, believe in things I wouldn't have found possible otherwise, and that's what I mean by inspire!

No one inspires me but I do manage to surprise myself every now and then with some of my achievements given the constraints I work under most of the time. My competitive streak helps me keep getting better. But it's not an inspiration to me - it's more a resolve to one up myslef.

There is no hard and fast rule that you have to be inspired by some of the most uptight of all people. There is no hard and fast rule either that you cannot be inspired by silly little girls. Silly girls inspire me more than anything else.

Oh, and my inspiration do not come only from a silly girl. It comes from two silly girl as a couple. 😆
