Parmeet Sethi opting out of JJKN !!!

is it a new article, cuz I can't find it. Awhile back there was some news
about Parmeet Sethi leaving JJKN (don't blame the lad) but I he is still on
the show.

Parmeet Sethi moving out of 'Jassi...'?


Parmeet Sethi wants to opt out of Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin! Reason? Sethi is not taking kindly to the money he is being paid.


Parmeet Sethi: show me the money!
At the Jassi... ramp show in J W Marriot, speaking on the sidelines, Sethi expressed his disappoointment. "I am not getting enough out here. I am getting much more on Star Plus (Kyunki...). I am getting a good amount on Sahara (Ruby Duby Hub Dub) and Zee (Astitva). So naturally, I feel that I should be paid on similar level in this show as well."

Why did he start on a low scale in the first place? "At that point of time, I needed to do the show. I was undergoing a low phase in my career. But now, touch wood, things are better. I am doing films as well," says Parmeet candidly.


Why should I continue to compromise? Even otherwise, I deserve a raise. On date, I have given nearly eighteen months to the serial," he pointed out.

"I am in the process of shooting for Episode No. 326. My contract expires on Episode No.335. I don't think I will go further," he added the actor who plays Raj in Jassi...

Does he think that everything will fall into place, we ask..."I don't think it will be sorted out. I have been talking to the people who matter, but they don't agree. Our discussions have reached almost a deadlock," he disclosed.

Only time will say what lies in store for Parmeet. But surely being one of the many men in Jassi's life must bring in some compensations!

😆 😆 ...add my prayers to that. But still the show won't end. B'coz T & D's ekta menia won't let them stop. They will replace all of them and the show will go on....forrrrrrrrrreverrrrrrrrr.

JP, can you suggest any other actors to T & D?

if they cant come to terms with parmeet sethi, they will just kick him out after his contract comes to an end....the original blf track makes it easier for them to do this as this will mean that armaan and raj end up having a bad brawl where there's no looking back......😕

Hmmm.... Parmeet's going away would be a big loss to Apurva I guess! They are great buddies off-screen as well from what I've read!

If his contract non-extension is inevitable and he leaves (although I hope not), I'm wondering if T&D will change the story YET AGAIN to get rid of the character Raj or bring in some other guy to play the role going forward.. if they bring in a new guy.. who could that be? Sonu Nigam? 😉 (I'd love that!)

So we've lost the Maria, the gang, Pari and now Raj. 🤢 A million damns to T&D.

If Permeet were to leave, I guess they may come back on the track with BLF, where Mario is found reading Betty's diary, and Armando throws him out!!!

good point, Paheli. Hope that happens and JJKN is brought back on track with BLF. Although, I like the Raj/Armaan jhodi...I was hoping that one of the deviations that T&D would do is keep the Raj and Armaan friendship, but alas T&D are cheap b🤬 who don't even have have the common sense to take the time out to make sure that they sort out their bloopers and blunders.
