Nov 12/09 - Written Update

Part 1

Veer is pensive at the office when Avinash arrives and asks why he's at work so early. Then says he understands its probably because Veer is trying to forget his brother's loss through work, but that Jai's not really gone and Avinash can still feel his presence. Veer says he too can feel Jai's presence and was thinking to do Shradh puja. Avinash says he's already contacted the family pandit, who's just returned from Benaras, about it. The lawyer comes to discuss the family's property and officially transfer it to Veer. Avinash gets all upset that he's come at such a time of loss to discuss property. Veer tells Avinash to cool down and that the lawyer's just doing his job. The lawyer leaves before Veer signs the documents.
• Veer says they have to live and happily for Jai Bhaiyya though without him. Veer n Avinash hug and set of for the Shradh puja.

• In their quarters, Pammi tells Ayeesha that she has lied to Minnie m'am about Ayeesha being sick, but doesn't think that Ayeesha will be able to manage both the Shradh puja and dropping of Nihaal in boarding school in one day. Ayeesha says she will manage and after this Pammi won't have to do anything more for her. She calls for Nihaal and realizes that he's missing from the room.

• Pammi is worried that their truth is going to come out if people catch Nihaal in the hotel. Ayeesha's about to go search when Nihaal comes in through the window. Pammi scolds Nihaal to save all his playing in the garden for Boarding School. Nihaal says he was not playing in the Garden. Ayeesha notices Nihaal is hiding something behind his back and demands he show it to her. Its white flowers ? the kind Nihaal's mom used to like for the puja. He promises nobody has seen him and apologizes to Parminderdi holding his ears.

Part 2

• As he steps out of the car at the temple, Veer gets a call from his mom. He tells her that all is well with Nandini, Jiju, and himself. He tells her to take care of herself and that he's got a meeting. He turns around and tells Avinash that he can't tell anymore lies?Avinash tells him to get hold of himself because Mommyji won't be able to handle the sadma. The bhog's food arrives and they go in?

• Nihaal and Ayeesha step out of an auto and spot a pandit. At Ayeesha's asking, the Pandit tells them he will meet them at the ghat for shradh puja. Nihaal sees all the bhog being downloaded by the people Avinash arranged. He asks Ayeesha why they brought so little bhog (Ayeesha is holding a tiffin with their bhog) and these people so much. Ayeesha says wat matters is not the quantum (amount) of bhog but, the astha (feelings) in ones heart and Nihaal's parents will be very happy with this bhog.

• Veer and Avinash are a few feet from Nihaal and Ayeesha but, don't see them. Veer & Avinash's pandit is late, so another pandit does the puja so they don't miss the auspicious time for it.

• Veer and Nihaal separately remember their loved ones when their pandits ask for name of the deceased.

• Ayeesha is sent off to get a puja item that's missing. On the other hand, Veer asks Avinash to do the Brahman feeding after the puja. He then prays a bit more and so does Nihaal. Both are shown praying very earnestly.

Part 3

• Veer wonders about where his bhaiyya is and Nihaal asks God for his Angel. As Veer opens his eyes he sees Nihaal. There is a flashback of their first meeting. Remember what Nihaal had said about his loved ones leaving him, Veer goes over to Nihaal.

• Veer asks whether Nihaal recognizes him when he opens his eyes and his taken aback to see Veer there. Nihaal replies ? "yes ? u r kal wale uncle." Veer asks wat are u doing here. Nihaal explains that he's here for his parent's shradh, so he can tell them he's okay and misses them. He then in turn asks Veer what he's doing there and if he's lost someone to god too. Veer quietly says he's lost his bhaiyya. Nihaal says you miss your brother like I miss my parents. Veer agrees and Nihaal goes on to explain how he remembers his parents and cries. But, then he remembers what his maasi says ? that they are watching and will be sad if they see he's sad. He tells Veer that he talks to his parents and Veer asks him how. Nihaal points up at the sky and explains that every night they come to meet him as stars and then he speaks to them. He encourages Nihaal to look for his bhaiyya and that according to his Maasi, god sends an Angel for everyone. Nihaal says god willl also send Veer an angel, who will help him. Veer queries if Nihaal's Angel has come. Nihaals face crumples a bit as he says that his Angel has not come yet but, sometime he will get his angel. They both tell the other that they hope that the they find their Angel soon and wish each other all the best. They smile at each other. TOO CUTE.
