AKA - Review

I used to really like it. Here in US we are still several weeks from the leap but I am already losing interest. The whole Damodar bhai, selling cosmetics track its just stupid. Unnecessary drama! Vidya and aditya initially appeared somewhat sensible and this desperation (or should I say idiocy) seems out of character. It started with the whole breaking fd to pay for sister's wedding nonsense. Come on! what is the expectation here? A grownup fully adult sister cannot understand and must be fully indulged in all her whims but a 5 yrs old kid is mature and responsible. This is hard to swallow. In real life I have known brothers marry off sisters but they dont put themselves on the street to do this, that too for a love marriage, not even an arranged, pagdi aapke charanon mein, khandaan ki izzat one! I was attracted to the show by antara's parents who appeared mature and sensible and therefore a refreshing change but all the melodramatic nonsense is making me lose interest. And taking money from the dada is the height! At every step they are making the wrong decision.
