This is a rant maybe, so here it is:
Many times I have noticed that members criticize an actor to many levels and tag them with names such as 'wooden plank,' 'barbie doll,' and yadda yadda yadda to get their point across which I have no conflict with, because it's an opinion. For example, lets just name Imran or Katrina as they are certainly easy targets since for the love of God, none can act or dance. But I have also noticed, as soon as their favorite is hooked up with the actor they were into criticizing, then suddenly for them Imran can act and Katrina can dance just because their favorite [in this case insert perhaps Deepika's or Sonam's name as many are fans of them on the forum] is being paired up with them in a movie or they are being linked up with them. Why is it so difficult to hold an opinion with also accepting the pair together? Just because you happen to criticize Imran who's coming up in a movie with maybe Deepika doesn't mean you like Deepika who's your favorite any lesser. Makes sense?
I can bet my left eye that many fans of Ms. Kareena Kapoor on the forum will cease the hate toward Shahid if today he is signed up with her in a big budgeted movie. Or I don't know...Katrina will somehow be a polished actor if she's signed opposite Ranbir or Shahid. Maybe you happen to like Priyanka, but you have to for some reason accept Uday Chopra too (even though you know deep down the man is good for nothing). Why so much pressure?
So what's up with this issue? Is it that hard to maybe accept facts if the talk is related to your favorite? It surprises me to witness how fans make a 180 with issues such as this. Ok, if you're already going to change colors then might as well don't 'bash' or 'criticize' extensively for it to be noticeable because after all this is B-town and any pair can come together for a movie.
Any views? You can pick on each other too. 😆
