So i was watching TV and a ad for De Dana Dan came on..
The movie with Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif

and the song that was on was like a slower version of Manak E's Paisa
and the words were the same...i think he also sang it xD

i lovee this song <3

I was wondering if this was a punjabi movie?
Nowadays, all bollywood movies have like at least 1 punjabi song
so i was just wondering whether this was a punjabi movie

cause akshay kumar's punjabi movies are always funny xD

^^^ Nope it's not a punjabi movie they have just taken the song and added it in the movie. They did they same with the "Kadi te has bol ve" song in the movie Love Aaj Kal.

It seems like bollywood is running out of good songs hence they are taking punjabi songs and editing them to make it sound hindi. I can't Manak-E would gladly re-sing the song in hindi and it sounds so funny, like he is forced to rhyme the song in hindi lol.

i love the song but they made it so slow in the movie
kinda like he was saying it instead of singing it

lol this version is good but i think i like the punjabi one better

hindi= paisa paisa karti hai kyun paisa pe tu marti hai
kya hota hai paisa ka paise ki laga du dheri
main baarish kardu paise di

lol i like the hindi version but it sounds better in punjabi :P

punjabi: paisa paisa kariya kar amai na tu dariya kar
gal sachi mere naal kariya kar kadhi rab kolo vi dariya kar
ki hundha a paisa paisa, paise di la du terii (not as it you but like it starts with the T sound)

i agree with you guys, and yeah their changing lyrics to hindi from punjabi and stuff. but think about, it- bollywood's been incorporating punjabi songs in their hindi movies for soo long now. their are soo many punjabi songs that have been used in those movies.

and thats cuz those music directors and everyone all know that punjabi songs are popular from the beats to the words to the overall songs..everyone loves punjabi music!!
