Why is it this happens to me ????
Never there where I ought to be .....
For folks here it was party time
Where was I ??? .... waiting for the clock to chime ????

A few hundred days ago
I chanced upon a post
Written in bright orange
It made me stop and take look

One thing lead to another
A word, a sentence, a poem & a story too
And before I knew it
I was hooked like never before

So my dear Skep
Thats how it was ....
It is and will always be
Your posts are such a treat for me

They make me laugh
They make me think
They make me happy
They're such a treat !!!

The serial may have ended
Our ways may have parted
But for me you'll always be
A fantastic writer, poet & pal.

I know I'm terrribly late
But that seems for be my fate
Always blundering in
After all have left and lights are dim .....

Hope you had a wonderful Birthday ....
And a year that's wonderful too !!!!

Time has gone by

I don't know why

You said wait for me

So I'm waiting patiently

Sunrise to sunset

I didn't fret

But quietly sat

And I became

Intezaar aur abhi........ aur abhi ............ aur abhi

The clock ticked on as I sat

Didn't know what to do about that

So I got up and began to pace

And strolled along to another place.

I walked into the thickest green

A pretty place where I'd never been

A little girl with the quaintest dress

Was she really the Wood Princess?

She hooked her finger telling me to come

I followed her looking glum

The squirrel, the mole, and the butterfly

The birds and flowers made me sigh.

I went on till I heard the spring

It did a marvellous coolness bring

Sprigs of flowers grew all along

As the ferns heard its timeless song

I came to a red floral doorway

With a white pebble pathway

Fragrance exuded from the archway

Who was whispering 'Happy Birthday'?

At the end of the road something lay

Shimmering in the bright sunrays

Ruby roses tied in a bow

Who had left it there, I didn't know

Alongside lay a folded letter

I screwed my eyes to see it better

Words showing how she was contrite

Were soulfully written by my Sprite.
