I took off on my broom

In the deadly night
I took flight
To catch a sight
Of earthly termites
Of nocturnal vermin
Fit for a dustbin
Alas your place
Is such a disgrace
Shudder to think
Of roses that stink
Why aren't there bats
Or maybe even rats
As food for my cats
Or the spider on my hat
I refuse sweets
They are the pits
And your words
Are better unheard
What silly things
