This topic was aching my heart for a long time now --the relationship of Ragini and Sadhna.

I went through a lot of topics on the forum. Some are pitying Sadhna while others are pitying Ragini. But what I personally don't get is why no one is pitying their relationship? The same Ragini and Sadhna, that could do anything for each other. The same Ragini who was worried for her sister, Sadhna on her wedding night. Sadhna, who did EVERYTHING she could to get her sister married to Ranvir. Sadhna sacrificed her happiness for Ragini.

I just feel, that Sagini's trust in each other is truly beyond those accusations or the fact of who sides with who.

DB tried to create a misunderstanding, and that even happened with Sadhna slapping Ranvir, but that was because those two were acting as wives of their respective spouses. I tried placing myself in Sadhna and Ragini's place during that certain sequence. I felt that what Sadhna did was right. She was worried about her husband, who is mentally unstable where as, Ragini was worried for her husband, who got blamed for nothing. But what is bigger then that is the fact, at how these two acted as sisters. Ragini as Sadhna's jiji is someone who would have understood how Sadhna was feeling and Ragini came across that only when Sadhna cried, feeling miserable about slapping Ranvir. So somewhere deep down, I felt that Ranjan Shahiji, portrayed the 2 characters beautifully and with intensity.

And a round of applause had to go to Ragini for standing up for Sadhna, against DB. That whole scenario was something I really appreciated. That told us, that after that one night, of that 'rivalry', Ragini and Sadhna's relationship got stronger. Somewhere deep down, I always knew, that Ragini and Sadhna would do something, separate, compared to the kind of relationship, Vasu and Ambika shared. Cus, I personally felt that Ragini and Sadhna were meant to showcase how differently 2 people can be, contrasting everything that happened to Vasu and Ambika.

Now, coming to the future track, I just feel that this track will make Ragini and Sadhna's relationship stronger. Yes, Ragini might misunderstand Sadhna and they might drift apart, but what will come ahead after that is much more intense. Ragini's miscarriage, --who will be blamed? Sadhna, why? Because the shock of Ranvir's prison will effect Ragini, --why? Because Sadhna witnessed against him. I feel bad for Ragini that she has to deal with a miscarriage and not have Ranvir there, but I feel equally bad for Sadhna. It will be HER guilt of making her jiji go through a miscarriage. So technically, why differentiate between 2 sisters, who are in pain? One cus of not gaining support from her younger sister, and the other, for making her jiji suffer?

After this, yes, we might see some sour ups and downs between the relationship of these 2, but won't that make their relationship stronger? Sadhna consoling Ragini, when she suffers a miscarriage (which I hope not) just for the sake, that they are sisters, and then, these 2 on a hunt to prove Ranvir innocent. Bidaai was all about the relationship of sisters, and how it goes through ups and downs. We saw phase 1 during RagVir marriage, and phase 2, some days back, and now, it's time for phase 3.

Please don't differentiate between the 2 sisters, because no one is at fault, neither Sadhna nor Ragini. Look at it practically.

Love,

Shifu

@ Sania: I know. It will just make thier relationship stronger. Cus if they had to drift a part, DB would have done that long ago.

LOVED your post shifuuu! i agree with each & every work you said;;

none of the sisters are at fault & they can never be...but i wonder if we will still be able to relate to this "now-lovely" characters anymore during the rift?

We are not even sure about the future track and there are so many accusations and defensive posts already in the forum. Shifali, you did an excellent job by coming up with this post. 👍🏼

I don't think Sadhana or Ragini will be at fault under the given circumstances. They will just be victims of this unfortunate incident and suffer equally.

One can not measure anyone's pain on a scale. Ragini will be in pain due to her miscarraige(very unfortunate for any woman) and Sadhana will suffer because of the Guilt or remorse (worst feeling ever) of making her jiji go through this.

I am sure Sadi-Ragini bond will withstand this adverse situation and this will make them even stronger. The beauty of their relationship is that they feel each other's pain. They are "Do jism ek Jaan".

yeah, that's true.. no matter which sister did for another one, everything was out of love. I was looking forward to the track sister;s rift due to DB's acts but I was pretty much disappointed because I wanted these sisters to prove their love for each other and that nobody can separate. And DB's realizing that not all sisters are same.. But to my shock, I'm very sad to see DB leaving the house? why? Did Ragvir and Sadna left insecure about their relationship? This was the perfect time to prove their love but I guess I'm expecting too much😳 As DB;s grandchildren, they have right to mend their loved ones ( not to forget the fact that DB did like sadna and ragini but it was Avni who poisoned her mind)

If these two can stay strong during this phase then I would really say HATS OFF!!!And I really out of my depth speculating about what's going to happen.

Thanks Shifali. You summarised everything so beautifully in your post.

And this preison, miscariage etc can create deep impact on both the sisters for reasons you already mentioned.Just have to wait and see I guess..

Very nice post. Both Ragini and Sdahna would suffer trauma because of the mishap with Ranveer. Ragini will lose her child and Sadhna will lose her jiji... both will be eqaully at loss, you are right. Its a stupidty to compare who is at fault, because both will pass through mental shocks. I bet we will be unable to decide whom to blame. Because it will be purely circumstantial and noone can be blamed solely.
