Archana says she vowed to keep this rishta but....

Ok so this is what i don't get in today's awesome episode archu finally steps up and decides to talk to manav. She basically tells manav she doesn't want a divorce and that she had planned on being his wife forever.
So lets look try to look at this with some logic:-

1) So basically, when she became his wife, she vowed to stay with him forever
2) She believes the pictures, so she leaves him
3) In her heart she thinks he's innocent, but doens't say anything to him
4) She won't talk to him even when her family isn't around
5) She wont' sign divorce papers cause he hasnt' (but remember this rishta is forever but she wont' talk to him)
6) When he signs them she gets the courage to talk to him
7) She tells him that she had planned only keeping this rishta forever....so what was she going to do, not divorce him and the same time not live with him the rest of the life. uhhh what?!?!?!?!

Do creatives really think we're that dumb that we wont' catch the contradictions, ok don't take this the wrong way, as stated above i thought the episode was awesome and a step in the right directions, but really we're intelligent people treat us like it! Plus without us they have no show, so give us what we want ArMan together

I guess I have strayed far away from the main topic of the post... but really wanted to analyse Manav and Archana's characters and the reasons behind Archana's silly decisions without involving the creatives...!

Archu maharani says that she wud do anything to keep this relationship alive, but she doesn't talk to manav, lets him be insulted, believes he's a pimp, has started her life altogether afresh, and even roams abt with Satish all the time as if she isn't really a married woman anymore... then how is she maintaining her relationship..???

Here I guess the basic difference btw Manav and Archana arises... Manav fulfills this relationship cos he doesn't look at it as a ritual (sindoor, agni and all that). He never thinks it is a paap to break this relationship cos I vowed in front of God and agni... rather he believes it is a rishta of their hearts... As he said to his aai that day, "aise kai rishte hote hain jinhe man hi man nibhaya jata hai.." that also clarifies why even when archana was getting married to satish in the beginning of the serial, he always helped her (in the brothel and even helped her dad)he was happy admiring her from far... was happy for her happiness...cos he really truly loved her...

Archana on the other hand, is very attached to this relationship, but not to manav- you get the difference??? She wants to stay married cos she thinks it is her duty to, having vowed in front of god and agni, she doesn't want to let her marriage break... this is what I've gathered after her various dialogues and dramebazi session... "Yeh rishta ek pavitra rishta hai jo agni ke samne saat phere lekar liya gaya tha... apke na chahte hue bhi manav dwara meri mang sajai gayi thi..."

she says all this but not once did she ever say...I don't want to break this marriage cos somewhere I believe my Manav is innocent... she will just keep on bragging abt Agni and all...

In my opinion... Archana really doesn't know the meaning of a pavitra rishta.. while manav is fulfilling it every minute.. taking wedding vows and putting sindoor don't make a rishta pavitra, it is the pureness of love and trust and sacrifice that make it so.. she kept bragging abt it yesterday... while the truth was in what manav said, "You couldn't understand the silent emotions behind my signature..."... that he sacrificed his love, life and relationship for the sake of his wife's happiness... her marriage to satish...

Now THAT is a PAVITRA RISHTA...!!

I hope there is NO divorce in the serial, but if there is... then I guess Archana will understand the meaning of a pavitra rishta when manav supports her without any expectations and despite suffering from a broken marriage... (it is quiet obvious he will always be there for her whenever she needs him!!)

PS: Please do not think that I'm bashing up the Hindu wedding rituals or saying that I don't believe in them, in fact i love them... but I still stand by what I say... simply marriage does't make a relationship pure and sacred... afterall marriage is just a social celebration and acceptance of a relationship, it is the love in the heart that makes it pure...!!

Agree absolutely... she wants to stay married but not be an understanding wife...!
