drunken ranvijay and janmuni

I have one grouse about Ranvijay being drunk and therefore may force his attentions on Jamuni. Why is that indian serials tend to portray men in a drunken state when they take advantage of a woman. Ranvijya, as you all well know, needs no liquor to do so. He is a lecherous man who has no hesitation nor shame in trying to seduce a very young innocent like Jamuni. He has no morals in any way - he is a seducer, a brother-killer (if given the chance) a thug. Jamuni is innocent and although she is aware of his marital status etc etc, she is nevertheless young and innocent - still learning to understand her own changing emotional state - she is being forced into this sexual stage way before her time - both ranvijay and worse still her mother are to blame for this. Yes i do hope she gets her senses before she is fully seduced. My sympathies are with Jamuni - she is just too good and too nice to be forced into such a situation. But i guess in real life, such things do happen ....
