fatwa against vandemataram

hi guyz,

the king came across a very disturbing piece of news that a islamic organization has banned muslims from singing vandemataram. another dissapointing thing is chidambaram who is our finance minister was present in a congregation where this was being discussed. he conveniently avoided saying anything in this regard.

we know how vandemataram came into existence. there was many muslims who sang vandemataram during our freedom struggle along with the hindus. wht is ur say in this issue. is it right to ban such an important song which has an emotional value to it.

I dont understand any probs with song! Whos that stupid muslim who dont respect their own country...in Quran itself mention to love their mother land!

The Islamic religious institutions have asked not to sing Vande Mataram. So, let the muslims not sing it, let them recite the poem. 😛

No, it's because in the song one is worshipping or showing respect to one's country. And they're against worshipping anything other than 'Allah'.
