I think more than anything it was a clash of parenting styles.

The kid wanted masti Fun parents while i can say apu-ss are kind of the boring conventional couples.

Maybe I feel the real parents could have dropped in on the first day and told apu-ss what the kid really wants...

I agree theres difference between handling a girl child and a boy child...normally boys want to hv some fun around them...girls r always satisfied with some sweet talks...

Lakshya wanted Apu to b like Gurmeet I guess who does all that masti with the kid not to make him feel lonely and left out..but here we saw Apu and Shilpa were so engrossed in their own work that they left Lakshya watching TV for hours..poor kid got bored to death😆

At the same time even the kid looked a bit spoilt to me..the way he kept on demanding cars but never played with them once😆..such type of kids r difficult to handle especially if the parents r more serious and introvert types..

but that does not give those parents the right to say Shilpa can never b a good mother on national television..I thought that was too much...

hmm ok so as i consider myself apu's bigest fan lolllllllll...😆..as per my competition sharmii..she says from now on she is fan of my kid...and jyoti...tum aur main dono barabar..😆
anyways jokes apart ..i would like to add my thoughts after seeing the episode...i felt the initial phase.....when kid was dropped with shilpa and apu..they did not try to connect with him...as we were shown in flashbacks...apu was colouring (he looked cute aww) and later on shilpa had gone to bed and poor kid was left alone to watch tv.and apu went to work..i myself use tv as baby sitter often..so i know how tempting it is to do so.......but since kid was there for short time .....that was their first mistake....
later on they were not trying to connect and kid got annoyed and confused and became rude...
i feel shilpa just swiched off....here they were sensible enough ..but at certain points i feel whats going on here....apu is such introvert person..but we all know shilpa is not so she should have tried na....like rakhi did ..gurmeet is just natural..so we cant compare here...howveer spoiled the kid was he was still a kid and elesh was able to manage him beautifully..even at sleepover and meuseum...what broke my heart was when shilpa said i tried to connect but i cant and i am not even interested anymore.....how heartbreaking for the kid na......we cant forget he is just a 6 year old kid..who was probably told u will have loads of masti and will get gifts....he felt heartbroken when on day one he was kind a left alone to watch tv...
as some one mentioned before kids r smart ..they know who genuinely loves them..
also shilpa tried to argue and her tone was rude.....she was having a little stern expressions.....actually i feel bad for kid here..i have kid of that age i know how vulernable the kids r...and how easily they get bored
in end i must say reel and real parents both were wrong at some places...but few things real parents pointed out were right...shilpa did not even bother to ask poor kid to make project with her..apu even said ..ke usko saath mein lekar karo..
now we saw how happy she was to see a dog....but kisi ke bache ki taraf jimedaari jyada banti hai....
kuch jyada bol gayee na main...actually i felt bache bhagwaan ka roop hote hain..wo galat bhi hon magar do din ke liye aaye the..to they deserved more love....here see how the girls did not go to diwali party..juhi and sachin stayed without complaint...these things matter(not taht i am less annoyed with juhi over twin saga..but here she was good except for her food obssesion)
i must say in end i was disapointed with my favourite actor...and his very sensible wife ...i feel they were not good with laksh..
but after this lamba bhashan i must say shilpa did not deserved to be callled as bad mom by laksh's mom on national tv..that got me annoyed with laksh's mom..otherwise sh ewas pointing right things....before..
and as laksh's dad said energy level goes down with age..so shilpa apu should have a kid soon now😃

i agree with you sam that calling shilpa a bad mom on national tv was not a good thing, but i think they were disappointed the way their child was treated, and i was shocked when i heard shilpa complainin about the child... and she was so happy to see the dog.... maybe cos dogs are more innocent than kids and they never complain about anything :) .... i think apoorv is very mature, but shilpa needs to grow!

arey i was thinking thank god shilpa has matured.......but that dog thing blew me..i am a vet whole day i work with pets and pet lovers..i see people genuinely in love with their pets...am yet to see such odd reaction..i am seriously worried about shilpa......i think she is under tremendous stress due to something ..which we cant point out......hope she gets herself pulled together..bechara apu..how sheepishly he was laughing and saying relax baby..lol..

I 100% agree with you, how Shilpa reacted when she saw the puppy, it was really strange and wierd, and i think so too that she is under extreme depression due to somehthing, good analysis.👍🏼 you must be a very good in understanding people's psychology, i am impressed.

thanks for giving me thumbs up on people evaluating skill😉..but seriously she has a wall around her..i am watching her from day one..i dont like to critisize her as lot of people love her and i respect her a lot as apu's wife and his choice...so for apu's sake i felt it was bit odd.....i once saw a similar reaction from her..it was when apu was singing in that reality show...then too it looked so odd..but as a mom she was good with hunar with twins she was...good..and so was apu..

i feel the kid's parents had a point. the onus is on the celebrity participants to make the child feel comfortable. the decision to participate in the show was prolly the parents. and they must have convinced the child by promising him that he wud get lots of gifts and have lotsa fun. so when he didnt get that he was disappointed. but the agnihotris could have made it better instead of just going abt their duties of feeding him on time etc. even hired help do that! but having said that saying shilpa cant be a good mom was in bad taste.
