Sanju bowled over by Kangs
Really impressed by Kangana's hard-hitting performances, Sanjay Dutt suggested her name to director Mani Ratnam for the film Knock Out. He felt Kangana would essay the role of a serious young journalist perfectly and let his opinion be known to director Mani Ratnam. Mani immediately agreed and approached her for the role.
The truth is Kangana and Sanjay Dutt who where shooting for their forthcoming comedy film No Problem in Cape Town got along very well and became fast friends during the shoot of the film. Both of them were impressed with the other's professional attitude and humble persona's. No Problem stars Suniel Shetty, Akshaye Khanna, Anil Kapoor and Paresh Rawal with Sanju baba.
While its quite an unusual pairing that of Sanjay Dutt-Kangana considering Kangs is literally half of his age, sources reveal, " Sanjay Dutt is working hard on his body to look lean and young. His pairing with Lara Dutta in Blue did seem a little odd and he's making sure he stays off his favourite vices inorder to take care of his skin and body. He will be paired with younger actresses time and again and he's trying hard to look younger than his age."
Whether their chemistry clicks is still unknown but here's hoping their performances manage to knock us out when the film releases.
