Colors crosses 350 mark; Zee takes second place

Colors has beaten its own score in Week 43, as per TAM Media Research data for C&S, 4+, HSM audience, by garnering 356 GRPs, 42 GRPs more than last week. The closest it came to this was when it recorded 338 GRPs in Week 41. With a relative share of 27 per cent, Colors sweeps the top spot.

Zee has sprung a surprise by taking the second rank and garnering 271 GRPs, adding 39 GRPs over last week. Its relative channel share stands at 20 per cent. STAR Plus, which is at No. 3, has witnessed a decline in the last three weeks. From 257 GRPs in Week 41, its share in the latest week is 229. Its share in the Hindi GEC (general entertainment channel) pie is 17 per cent.

Sony has recorded 159 GRPs in Week 43, while NDTV Imagine has managed to grab 121 GRPs. The channel shares are 12 per cent and 9 per cent respectively. SAB and STAR One have garnered shares of 5 and 3 per cent respectively. DD1 has garnered 2 per cent share, while STAR Utsav and 9X have 1 per cent share each.

Five of Colors' shows are in the Top 10 list in Week 43. Uttaran is the most watched programme and has garnered a TVR of 8.2. Balika Vadhu is the second most watched show with 6.8 TVR, followed by Na Aana Is Des Laado, which has garnered a TVR of 6.3.

SaReGaMaPa Li'l Champs-09 and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai have recorded TVRs of 5.3 and 5.2 respectively, whileBidayi, which used to be the top rated show, has recorded a TVR of 5.1.

The other top shows are Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, Pavitra Rishta, Chhoti Bahu and Bairi Piya on Colors. Bigg Boss Season 3 has garnered a TVR of 3.8 and is 11th in the list.

so srgmp was at # 4 throughout the week

i think it was the srgmp grand finale week hence the high trps. anyways srgmp always does well trp wise. kudos to colors for scoring high on trps. this shld be a lesson for sp to buck up. they cannot depend on ONLY bidaai and yeh rishta. if other shows are weak even their strong shows will suffer. colors and zee have a more number of interesting shows. while sp has only 2.
anyways i find members of this forum sensitive abt trps and breaking into jodi fights. i hope it doesnt happen again. bidaai is a STRONG show but there are other factors which contributed to better trps of other shows and not because they showed x jodi or didnt show y jodi.
