Karan shows off the tape to Pooja. He merrily leaves the office. Pooja's boss calls her to his cabin and fires her. He tells her he had decided to hire her but after the drama today he cant keep her. He asks her to not come to office any more. Vinny is at home...Trisha skips in. She teases Vinny. Vinny tells her he wants Pooja to accompany him to the jewellery designer's office but doesnt know how to tell her. Trisha thinks he is thinking of an excuse to take Pooja out on a date but Vinny tells her he is serious.
At home the doorbell rings. Pooja opens the door to find a man from the court. He tells her that court has sent her a notice. Pooja asks him what notice? Karan barges in and says that it is a notice to make her come and stay with him. Pooja is stunned to know there is a law regarding this. Karan tells her that he will make her pay for whatever she has done to him. A husband is like God to a woman and both the society and law are in his favor. Now he will make her keep visiting the courts all her life. Karan leaves and Pooja is dismayed.
Babli and Nanda are missing Pooja and Shubha. They call up Pooja and Shubha respectively. The women get to know Karan's latest news. They reassure Pooja. Kamini sees the notices and questions Pooja as to how she could live with such a man for so long? She should have left him long back. Pooja says that she thought after she walked out her troubles would end. But things are even worse now. She neither has a family nor a job. Kamini consoles Pooja and says things will work out. The next morning Nanda and Babli discuss Pooja's problem with the other women in the train. The women feel that Pooja should fight it out till the last. Pooja is looking at job ads when she receives a call from Vinny. He requests her to accompany him to select designs. Pooja agrees with reluctance. He asks her for her address but she asks him to send his address and she will come over.
At the designer's office Vinny tells the designer that Pooja will make the selections. The designer enquires where did Pooja do her jewellery designing course and Pooja says she is actually a MCom graduate. The designer shows her the designs and she is impressed with Pooja's choices and comments. In the end she offers Pooja a job with her. But Vinny cuts her and says Pooja is his design consultant and is already working with him.
Shubha and Vasu go to Mridula's party. Vasu also likes Mridula. They have lots of fun judging a kids fancy dress competition. Pooja and Vinny are at a restaurant. Pooja asks him how can he offer her a job when she is not qualified for it. He tells her he would rather go for talent than for someone with bookish knowledge. Pooja questions him as to what does he really know about her? So Vinny playfully starts making notes on what he knows of her. He lists her marital status as unmarried but Pooja corrects him and says she has been married for one year. Vinny is shocked...their eyes meet...then his eyes move to her forehead where he notices the sindoor there.
Preview: Pooja tells Vinny that she cant do the job. Vinny asks her if the decision is hers or her husband's. Pooja says that she just cannot do the job!
