First time when mayank helps her open the restroom door and she comes right in his arms and cries on his chest...it became more then just helping someone. There was this girl who was scared and was shaken up....finding comfort in his arms...he didn't know her, hadn't even seen her face yet, had never let any girl come that close to him, he stood there for her waiting for her to calm down, didn't exactly know what to do but knew he just had to be there.. He was surprised but at the same time was feeling bad for the girl hiding her face in his chest. She slowly gets back....still covering her face with her hands...he wants to see her and then he did when she slowly moved her hands off her face. She was different from the girls he had seen around him in college. He still talks about her eyes....and her eyes were what attracted him towards her. Her eyes were filled with tears, he noticed that and felt it, he wanted to comfort her but she runs away....he followed only because he had just started caring for a girl he hardly knew.

being the guy he is he quickly brushes off that strange feeling and goes to attend his lecture. Maybe still wondering about her but doesn't let that take over. But to his surprise he finds her in his arms once again. Those eyes that got him the first time are looking into his eyes this time. He cudn't just let go of her immediately. For a sec. evt just stopped there. That was the first time she looked properly at the guy who she has not even met yet but has already saved her twice. They get lost in each others eyes....they both have expressive eyes one trying to read other's....
These were 2 people who in their normal senses would not let any guy or a girl resp. come that close to them but they let their guard down for each other. even if it was for a min.

hey both have very strong personalities. Niether of them lets anyone get to them that easily hence they both quickly get back to their real selves not knowing that something had already changed in them. It was a new beginning to something they both had not experienced before. Being 2 completely opposite people with completely different ideologies.... they start clashing. But that connection made during their first meet doesn't let either of them ignore the other. They'd fight but still find themselves around each other all the time. They were supposed to do the project together but was that only the reason for them being around each other or there was something more to it. He could have managed to do the project by himself even if it was a group project, he finds her least interested in studies yet he keeps her involved all the time. She on the other hand feels challenged by his attitude and sarcasm towards her yet his opinion matters to her. Out of all she asks him how she was looking when she tried on that dress. And when he made fun of her in his own style she immediately feels that maybe she overdid it. Why didn't she question him....why did she take his opinion and why did she so quickly accepted it. Gunjan said it before mayank that she went a bit too far but she didn't care. Why did she listen to a guy she doesn't even know that well enough.

When she does well in the project against all his hopes....he starts to question his judgement. He knew she was not into studies yet she came up with such gud project...but not for once he thought that she might have taken someone's help. He already trusts her enough to question his judgement than her seriousness towards the project. He feels bad but at the same time relieved and proud. That's where for the second time he feels drawn to her. It was attraction the first time and it was respect this time. He was already moving up the love ladder and he was not realizing it yet. He infact doesn't even feel ashamed to go to her and apologise. A guy always in control of his emotions is seen vulnerable for the first time during that library scene. He feels a need to go to her and apologise....why? Even after he apologised he felt an urge to sit there spend sum time with her hence he finds hard to leave from there. But his ego overpowers him and he walks out. On nupur's front....she feels a need to prove herself to him. was it just because she wanted to prove his suspicions about her wrong or was it because she wanted him to think good of her. she wanted to impress him at some level and she did it by doing what he likes not at something that she does best. What he thought of her mattered to her even if it was masked by ego.
