This must be a bit of surprise coming from me cos from day one i have been kinda rooting for this engagement cum marriage track..
But chances are this might happen, prithvi might say yes but insist damini also says a whole hearted yes...
Now that is kinda boring and so unlike prithvi isnt it IMHO..lol..
If i was on the creative team and had to play out this scenario this is how i would do it... (this might be a long one, sorry folks but had to write this one out)

.Prithvi makes up his mind that he will say Yes and then runs into Damz who is oddly formal and
at the same time kinda acting distant from him.. She is utterly confused because of the
conversation she had with her own mother that Ila had asked Prithvi if he would marry Damz and
Prithvi wants to be sure that Damz has whole heartedly agreed to it..
Now she is confused as to what needs to be done..
Prithvi mistaking her behaviour for a possible NO and also because something like a marriage
is a big step for him, does not know what to do..
By prithvi's own admission he cant fake love for revenge, so how can he agree
to a fake marriage and all the things that come with it?
Unlike his brother MK who has apparently not that big regret for sleeping with a girl for revenge, will prithvi be able to do the same?
How will he stay away from her and explain the same to Damini and if he goes ahead with the marriage, he will never '
be able to forgive himself and also will never be able to go thro' with the revenge that
he so desperately seeks...
He already finds it tough to stay within his limits when it comes
to Damz, there never was and never will be any limits when damini is concerned cos when he is with
her nothing else matters to him but her and his heart reacts accordingly...
He decides he cant go with it.. and decides to tell Ila so..
Meanwhile Damz who thinks it over, decides it is a yes..
So while Damz says yes, prithvi goes later and tells Ila that it is a NO cos he still is not sure
of Damz feelings and tells her that he does not want any pressure on Damz and if it has to happen it has to happen naturally and maybe she ought to look for someone who is in the right league meaning status etc...
An amused and kinda relieved Ila then tells him that Damini infact has agreed to the proposal and slightly teases him giving him the option of either sticking to his decision or he can simply change his mind one more time now that he knows that Damz too likes him and has said yes..
Now prithvi is again in a turmoil, he does not want to marry damz under fake pretenses, knows it is wrong.. but also now that if he refuses now, his own job might be in jeopardy cos it will be too awkward for all concerned.. and by refusing damz he does not want to hurt Damz feelings too...
And somewhere he is extremely happy that Damz has said yes, he cant stop smiling but is also saddened that the circumstance are so horrible that he cant outright say yes..
He runs into Damz and both are extremely awkward around each other..
Prithvi decides it is now or never and decides to discuss the marriage thing with Damz so he can talk her out of it hopefully cos he does not want to hurt her and is not sure if he is indeed the best person for her..
He point blank asks her about her yes to marriage..
Damz being Damz does not say directly but more like u know mom wanted me to consider this proposal and i went with her wishes etc. etc....
Slightly disappointed prithvi (u know why) explains to her that the last time she listened to her mom, it was a disaster and maybe this time too she should not come into pressure despite the fact that he understands Ila has her best interest than anyone else in the world, but she should really think it over cos she should not have any regrets..
He basically tells her to listen to her heart and then decide , he wants her to be sure that this is something she wants and he is the one she wants for life too..
Seeing damz bit confused about this he seizes this opportunity that both of them take a month to get to know each other, really well without getting formally engaged or anything, if after a month, she still wants to marry him, then yes he will be the luckiest guy but they need time, both of them need time to get to really know each other...
So what this does for prithvi is effectively give him a month's time to give final touches to his revenge plans and also gives Damz the time to really make up her mind...
He feels if they are destined to get married, they will if not atleast there will be no formal commitment from his side and he can simply walk away from her if he has to....
Edited to add:
A month's time is what they have anyway till the real Jai Chawala's dad comes..
This will also ensure that for the first time in their lives, the employer employee relationship is officially off and damz will open to him one more time and this time probably prithvi will be forced to respond, she and we might see the real more relaxed prithvi...
Prithvi will also get to know the family real close minus the barrier of employee and he might just rethink on his revenge thing..
A month's time will also mean we will know if veggie mum is going to become a grandmum or not..
MOST Crucially..
When damz finds out the truth over a series of incidents and also finally prithvi comes clean, the anger might just be replaced with the following obsrevation of prithvi:
He risked his life for her, when he didnt have to..
He was there for her, when he didnt have to..
He was her strength, when he didnt have to be..
He didnt pursue her, when he cud have..
Marriage idea was not his..
He initially refused (as Ila will tell damz later) and only when did Damz agree did he say yes..
And even then, he tried his best to talk both Ila and Damz out of this and did his best by giving them time...
And everytime things had gotten a bit too close for either of them, he was always the one who walked away..
He didnt take advantage of her, when he cud have..
He was impeccable with his behaviour with her and her family...
She will realize that whatever they shared was as real for him as it was for her..
She will realize and understand why he did what he did, though she will not forgive him easily..
Just maybe she will help him find direction and closure he so desperately needs...
And finally we might have this stupid revenge track replaced with the actual love and redemption track...
Okay this is it, what do u guys think...
