Beyonce or Taylor Swift

Ever since the whole Kanye West debacle at the MTV video music awards, I have been curious to get an answer to this question. Which one is the better music video - Single Ladies or You Belong With me? Taylor Swift won the best video female artist and Kanye West jumped on stage interrupting her acceptance speech and claimed Beyonce should have won. Eventually Beyonce won the best video overall for Single Ladies.

Alright Beyonce looks good and can really bust a move. I mean the girl can seriously move. But honestly, I do not think that three minutes of her wearing leotards and dancing cuts it out for me. Even the artistic shots and black and white, does not make up for the fact that its three girls dancing for 3+ minutes. Its actually funny really and makes great fodder for SNL skits, great sitcom laughs, and of course raising the question Joe Jonas - is he or isn't he?

On the other hand You Belong With me is a sweet old optimistic love song. It has a nice story to the video, and makes one feel warm and fuzzy. Taylor Swift all the way for me.

I love the music albums by Taylor Swift....my fav is White Horse and then follows You Belong with Me....ah! i just love the video, the plotline and everything about that song. =)
Beyonce is good too......i love Irreplaceable by her.....but this one....no wayyy! Taylor beats her fair and square when it comes to songs with good videos with poignant lyrics and plotlines.......I LOVE the lyrics of white horse the most...it's so touching =)

Ah finally people with exquisite music tastes. I mean what was Beyonce thinking with her video. Its totally bleh, and offers more of a comedy show.

Taylor Swift on the other hand. *Sigh* Taylor Swift - now her music is soulful. There's always a good story in her songs and that down home good to the core country feel. Her songs make me happy. I like Love Story, Teardrops on my Guitar, Hey Stephen and You Belong with me best.
