Vindoo Singh - Dara Singh's son is now getting a reboot to his career thanks to his new friend Akshay Kumar.

He was last seen in Kambakkht Ishq where he played a Akki's sidekick and now that character has spilled out in real life as well.

Both Vindoo and Akki bonded over their Punjabi roots and their penchant for fitness. Kumar has been helping the struggling actor find work.

Akshay shares a good working relationship with the decision makers in the Colors channel (he is presently hosting the second successful season of his reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi), and he used his good offices with them to get Vindoo in as a contestant in the Bigg Boss house.

Vindoo is among the 13 who will enter the house on this Sunday.
