Hi all, I wanted to start this thread to discuss the voice quailty of our dear and beloved hemachandra. I feel that Pooja Bhatt had hit the nail right on the head by saying that Hema has such a soothing voice that one feels that one is getting hugged by him. I perfectly agree with that. While Debo and Vineet's voice are aggressive (frankly I dont find anything special in Debo's voice), I find Hema's voice very calming. When I feel stressed out at work, I play his song and his voice calms me down. Have you felt this way too ? Plus, I feel that his voice is neither fully South nor fully North. It is a curious mixture of the two cultures. There is a certain degree of sophistication and romance in his voice that I dont find in any of the other bollywood singers that have made the nark in recent times.

Absolutely right! His voice modulation (switching between a softer tone and singing full-throated) is excellent, and it will only get better with age and experience. When he sang the "Ishq Vishq pyaar vyaar.." song, i was stunned. I didn't pay any attention to the original song (I think originally sung in Kumar Sanu's heavy voice)..but when Hemachandra sang it, I was like...THIS is how a song should be delivered. His "Ai ajnabee". "Hai Rama" were also far superior to the original versions. Hemachandra definitely has a place in the music industry....if the music directors dont see it, they are fools!

Yes, after Dil Vil Pyar Vyar, Shaan commented that Hema had this ability to make each song his own by giving his unique interpretation to it. His interpretation of Dil Vil was outstanding (although his voice broke a little bit in the higher notes in the first stanza) and very very original. This I think is his USP and junta should keep this in mind while voting. Question is : whose voice would you most like to hear after the competition is over ? Whose album would you like to buy ? Whose voice will give you the most joy ?
When we vote for our politicians, we hardly get any returns. That vote is a complete waste. But no amount of vote to Hema can go waste, because the returns are obvious.
yes I completly agree with you 👏
