Bollywood starfest at Osian's film festival

New Delhi, Oct 15 (PTI) The 11th edition of Osian's Cinefan film festival promises to be a star-studded affair with a clutch of actors and directors like Priyanka Chopra, Shahid Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Vishal Bharadwaj and Imtiaz Ali among those expected to visit.

The festival has introduced 'newstream' cinema which will showcase six of the critically and commercially acclaimed Bollywood films by new directors.

"Five years ago, none from the film fraternity wanted to be at Cannes, Berlin, Venice or Cinefan. But today stars are more keen to be seen there than at Maratha Mandir or Golcha cinemas," said Osian's chairman Neville Tuli.

The week-long festival, beginning on October 24, would attempt to take stock of the general trend of films world over, including Marathi movie "Harishchandra's Factory" (India's official entry to Oscars). Bipasha Basu-starrer "Afterword", M S Sathyu's "Incompatible" and "Houseful" by Bappaditya Bandopadhyay.

Its a week long festival, so Shahid should be back by then. Kaminey is gonna be showcased there, he has to be there. I want pics of all four together, Shahid, Priyanka, Vishal and Imtiaz.

Rishi can go hang out with the high class people. Shahid, PC, Vishal and Imtiaz might be too middle class for him.

🤣 🤣 Shahid, for sure, is too middle class for the Kapoor khandaan.

I read Saif is also gonna be there, so Rishi Kapoor will only be too glad to hang out with him instead.

I really hope they are there around the same time - but not at the end of the week. I am not going to be in Delhi then and I really want to see Imtiaz, PC, Shahid, and Vishal.

Dibaker Banerjee and Anurag Kashyap will be there as well.

Are you kidding me?! I was NOT making fun of Guddu! 😡 How could you even think that? I literally stammered there. I was so shocked that I might see the gorgeous Shayanka together again! Guddu's not insulted, are you, Guddu? (He responds with a no 😛). Twinny, I'm gonna be mad at you.
