Rumpa is in love with Gaurav's IIM MBA degree more than the man himself (atleast that is how it seems to me). She just had one date with him where they hardly interacted much - and she is already in love?! He has repeatedly made it clear he is interested in both Nandita and her and if Nandita had not put this US higher studies condition, I think he would have hooked up with her instead. He had very clearly said that while his head tells Rumpa his heart is after Nandita. I think she made that love declaration to corner Gaurav - a sort of emotional blackmail. It seems to have partially worked because the guy got her the gifts before he left.

I think Gaurav is better off with someone other than these two. If Rumpa's insecurities continue, she can make Gaurav's life hell. As far as Nandita is concerned my reading of her is that the girl wants to go abroad to complete her higher education but her family may have wanted her to marry first before she goes. So she is here more to see her options, rather than really be serious about marriage to any of the inmates - past and present.

yeah,I agree with you...nandita is more to see her options..and wants to study abroad.I wonder if anyone is serios in this show..all are here for fun I think

it's easy to misunderstand like with love. She likes him a lot, it's a little more than " just like". I doubt it's love. I am proud of Gaurav for straightening the matter over and over again. Rumpa is a great choice for a bride. As for the date how much did we see of the date? 5 minutes at the most? you really believe the dates they go on last 5 minutes? didn't they go on a drive too? She also mentioned she would always find a excuse to meet him..(things we never got to see) Gaurav is just really rational and practical, though he liked Rumpa he also liked Nandita. In life a lot of times you know something is good for you (Rumpa) yet you can't help but be drawn to something else (Nandita) On the other hand her sole focus was Gaurav. I find nothing wrong with it if she is okay with it.

No matter what Gaurav did he did it with sincerity and honesty.

Did I tell you, I love your posts? and your sincerity reflects through your writing😃 Of all, Gaurav was the more truthful guy who never led a girl into believing that he would marry one of them. I like such guy who dont make tall claims only to regret later on.

I dont think Rumpa is a great choice for a bride. A girl with her insecurities is a real pain for any man. She should have understood that he needs more time. Also did not like the fact that she asked Nandita not to pursue him because she was interested in him and this after their very first meeting. She is in a show where there are ten brides for 5 grooms. How can she claim exclusivity so soon? In the real world there are so many girls who could go after him. Would she be able to stop all that? She may like him or even more than like him but to go on National T.V. declaring her 'love' shows that either she is immature or insecure or both.

I admire Gaurav for having his head firmly on his shoulders although like a decent guy he did try to keep her happy in the end.
