Is thinking and making decisions from the heart right or wrong. Yes sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't but thats found out only after we make a decision. My question is, should we make a decision from the heart or from the mind.

If we make a decision based on emotions and from the heart, there is a possibility of being unfair or partial or biased especially if its something related to family and friends.

However, if we do make a decision with our mind, there is a possibility of completely ignoring our feelings which might tend to hurt people especially if its related to family and friends.

So my question is, if u had to choose between heart and mind to make decisions which one would you choose and why?

Remember, you cannot select both. It has to be one amongst the two.

I think the whole point here is that you can't pick one over the other. We, as humans, have been bestowed with emotions and logic, and therefore, all our decisions are based upon emotional as well as logical rationalizing. Of course, there's no such thing as thinking from your "heart", biologically speaking, it is all in the mind - however, yes, emotions and pure logic, both play a role. We are all very biased in every decision we make, it is influenced with our own personal rationalizations, our emotions, as well as of those around us.

Ah heart and mind decisions. Finally it is the ego that calls the shots. If we minus the ego then both the heart and mind should be able to see eye to eye. 😉

Although I think both are equally important, if I absolutely have to choose I would go with the heart. As emotional and sentimental as it might be, I do not think the heart is as illogical as it is made out to be. After all the heart is about true compassion and no matter what the circumstance compassion is never a bad thing and never illogical either. Compassionate choices may not be the smartest or the best, they may not be the fairest or the greatest, but all humans appreciate compassion and everyone is happy with a compassionate decision.

The hearts also equipped with little magical stuff like intuition that gives it a one up on the mind.

OMG, did I make another friggin compassionate post. Whats wrong with me.

All decisions are made by the brain... just with different perspectives....when its about humans use the heart, for the rest use the mind.....

Mind works depend on situation...mind is a dreamer....I believe truth felt by heart only...and Many people start with the mind and they fail..cos mind is a more complex phenomenon....😊

My heart tells me to skip all my classes tomorrow, stay at home and watch Glee, now that someone has convinced me that I'm missing out, while I stuff myself with chocolate cake. Should I listen to my heart?

why cant ur mind think of human aspects?

this heart and mind stuff is silly... it's always ur mind, just that sometimes u use ur mind in a silly partial manner and even if it works out well there will be a logical explanation.. usually "the heart" is nothing but a subconscious mind.

Mind works depend on situation...mind is a dreamer I believe that the heart contains feelings...emotions and other feeling that we endeur in our lives.....Despite our mind........The heart tells the right thing to do be it love or fight or anything else related to feelings.
