I remember, in the beginning when SaYank were first shown, they were neither friends, nor enemies. They were just mere competitors. And If my memory is good enough, the score was 15-15. What happened to that competitive attitude of theirs? Since when did Mayank and Samrat become the best of friends? Was it when Mayank was in denial phase of his love for Nupur? Well, TBH, I find it a strange reason to become friends.

Yaar do u still look for reasons in MJTH? after so much of loose ends.. this is nothing.. Mayb after Sammy realised that Mayank has feelings for Nupur and wen Sammy actually confronted him .. Mayank may have been impressed and they bcame frnds..

There was no base to how their friendship was formed. I mean, they jumped directly from just mere competitors to chaddi buddies? We all know the foundation of Dia-Samrat, Samrat-Benji, Dia-Annie-Chacko's friendship, and to an extent I even understand the newly found friendship between Dia-and Benjy. But Mayank and Samrat? When did they actually become friends?

And one more thing I don't understand is, why do SaYank always talk in indirect terms? Like, take for example the recent Samrat-mayank scene. After Nupur left, he said, paani kaafi garam hai. I mean, could he have not just asked, why Nupur is angry? Yeh paani aur Nupur ka kya connection hai? I would be glad if they talked in direct terms for a change, without addressing each other as 'dude' each time.

"Paani kaafi garam hai" is a slang.. its ok i guess.. most guys & girls in college do talk like this..

Really, is it because they're cool they talk like that?

Not bcoz they r cool .. its just a commomn usage in college.. we all use such sentences.. its fun 😆

I know popular guys who are friends, but they talk like how normal people do. So what's with SaYank? They should either show a proper base for their friendship, or don't show it all!

So, yeah, please feel free to answer all my doubts. I really want to clear my confusion.

Hes just never been too pally-pally with him because Mayank at the beginning of MJHT was a "lone wolf" type of guy.

When Mayank turned up to audition with Nupur for the Talent Parade Samrat was the one who said "You've made the cut" when Dia would have turned around and still said No.

Then at Samrats Diwali Party Mayank came with Nupur.

Samrat and Mayank hugged for the first time there as sort-of friends😃

In fact if you look at the more Mayank became involved with Nupur the more he came into contact with the Gang. Samrat was already seeing the first signs of MayUr so he was kind of encouraging it (like how he approved the audition and welcomed Mayank to his Party)

Then after MayUr had their Fight at the Talent Parade during Exams Samrat and Mayank kept bumping into each other. Remember they had that Exam conversation?

Really it was just lots of little meetings they kept having.

Then when SaJan had their Fight after the New Year Party Mayank comforted Samrat. Remember the Little Knuckle Punch? (AWWWW!!!!)

Then there was the Holi Party and Samrat noticed the MayUr Sparks. Plus when Mayank was drunk he offered to drop Mayank home but Mayank wouldnt listen😆 Samrat has kind of always considered Mayank a friend its just Mayank was a "keep to himself" guy.

Then the next major interaction they had was during the Play Rehearsals. There were loads of SaYank Scenes there. Samrat offered his Advice😆 Mayank refused😆

Samrat figured out that Mayank loves Nupur. He threatened to tell Nupur😆

Then there was the Samrat-RV Fight😡 Mayank saved Samrat there😃

Thats definately friendship dont you think?😃

Then when Samrat was trying to figure out if he liked SheeeNah🤢 or not Mayank dropped the hint that he thought that SaJan made more sense👏

When Mayank was trying to figure out what Nupur felt for him he let Samrat in on his thoughts and his plan😃 Samrat knew that the Rehearsal was not all fake😉

THEN we get to the Play where SaYank shared a Moment just before they were both going to perform ie Mayank was going to finally find out if Nupur loved him or not and Samrat was going to find out that Gunjan had decided on SheeeNah🤢 for Samrat

Then at Udays Party SaYank had loads of Moments where Samrat congratulated Mayank on the MayUr Love Story😆

I could go on forever😆

Then there was the SheeeNah Pool Party🤢 SaYank had plenty of Moments there and then the BIG one was when Mayank fought for Samrat at the Court Trial😃

So SaYank didnt just become friends overnight. It happened little by little throughout.

And I have some friends who just call each other "Yaar" or surnames all the time they never use each others first names either. Its like the way guys always call each other by their surnames.

it was all because of nupur that sayank ultimately became buddies...the first rv gang fight....he did it because gunjan called him and she being nupz sister..how could he possibly deny it...the entire court episode...again 4 nupz because for nupz gunjans happiness meant alot and gunjans happiness lies on samrat and mayanks happiness lies on nupur..lets put it this way: A=B=C and assume b as nupur therefore nupz is the common factor. guys, nupz actually connected the two different worlds!!!
