October 05, 2009, (Sawf News) - Sonam Kapoor confirmed her single status during a recent visit to Delhi, sounding 'single'larly disappointed with the paucity of good men.
The 24-year-old Dilli-6 star has been linked to Ranbir Kapoor and Cyrus Sahukar. (Sahukar, in case like us you didn't know, is a MTV video host and part time actor who managed to find his way into two Sonam films - Dilli-6 and upcoming Aisha)
Speaking to HT, Sonam took time to explain her relationship with Ranbir:
"Ranbir is one of my best friends and he's seeing someone. I'm friendly with both of them, and they come to my house a lot. So that [linking me and Ranbir] will be a little incestuous then, right?"
Understandably, she took a lot less time to dismiss the Sahukar linkup.
"I'm aware of Cyrus, too, because he called me in panic," she laughed.
So is she in some relationship that no one is aware of?
"No, I'm not? unfortunately or fortunately, I don't know? that's for you to decide. There are no good men around," she rued.
Girls who find Imran Khan and Neil Nitin Mukesh hot will have to lump that!
Sonam, who was in the capital to unveil People magazine's second edition of India's Best Dressed, also took time to dissociate herself from her party girl image that gained credence after a picture of her drinking surfaced on the internet.
"I was drinking in that [picture]. I drink and I have a good time, I'm a young girl. But articles that are written baselessly or when someone has an agenda against you ? that's unfair," she said.
