My brother is older than my last Maasi and he calls her Pinni all the time. I think she asked him not to call.

Bui,..... My grand ma was called MAMMAGARU by whole village even people who are older than her. I think she took pride in it.

I used to teach kids under 5 at church in India..i was in 12th standard and I was aunty to some and akka to others...
