Laali ignoring Shekhar. Well, that was quite an unexpected change from the usual. However, I was very pleased with the scene as we got to see just how lost Shekhar was without her bright, happy and encouraging presence. From his reaction(s), two key points come into the picture. First of all, it is undoubtedly clear that he's building a strong place for Laali within his heart and secondly, he is not only capable of detecting the changes in her mood, but more importantly, that these changes make him upset. The second ShaLi scene (during the night) brings this into light even further when Shekhar asks Laali how she was doing and then proceeds to let her know that he was waiting for her. The best part is, these developments in Shekhar and Laali's relationship aren't done in big steps or at random, but at a gradual pace which makes their jodi believable, realistic and satisfying. It will be very interesting to see what happens next.
