Hmmm, eljay vandhaachu, aanaal indha Kasthuri nambalai vittu pogamaattaa. This is for Thursday.

Update for Thursday, Oct 1, 2009:

Soma is sitting in his house, thinking (of what?). Someone called Ramkumar comes to see him with a request to pottu thallufy someone. Soma agrees. Balu comes to see him and threatens to tell Kasthuri about Thiru being kidnapped by Soma and thrown from the cliff near Ooty, and Soma agrees to buy his silence. Balu leaves, and Soma tells his henchman, Mohan, to finish off Balu.

Balu is killed by Mohan and his goondas, but Balu manages to call Kasthuri before dying and tells her all.

Mohan comes and tells Soma he has finished the job. Soma calls Kasthuri (why?) and she, being the brainless idiot that she is, tells him she knows all about his role in kidnapping Thiru. He tells her to meet him at his farmhouse, and we all know the great detective Kasthuri cannot resist such an invitation. He tells Mohan that there is a new assignment for him.

The detective Kasthuri arrives in an auto with a torch to a desolated area. Mohan and his men wait. Kasthuri overhears Mohan talking to his headman that he will pOttuthallu Kasthuri and begins to run... OdinaaL... OdinaaL... kadhaiyin 5 nimidangaL OdinaaL. A car comes and screeches to a halt. The psychiatrist doc (forgot his name) gets down and finds his car to have a flat tyre. He hears Kasthuri running and the men chasing. He follows the sound. Kasthuri trips and falls over some thorns/pinecones and writhes in pain. The Doc realises it is Kasthuri and admits her in a hospital, calls Ganesh who is playing running and catching with his wife. Porkodi's brother comes and enquires about Kasthuri, no one knows her whereabouts. Ganesh gets a call from the doc, informs Daddy Gander and Dhanam. All of them arrive at the hospital for a mini RKO. There is a team of docs attending on her, her life is in danger says one doc. After the family finish their Friday quota the doc invites them to his room, where it is disclosed that vaathu is out of danger, but would lose her present face. The doc decides that they have to take her to London to see a Dr.Mathews who will operate on her...

Monday 5/10/09 - for the archives

Face bandaged vaathu - Daddy gander cries - doctor
wants the old photographs - London poga porathu vaathu -
Kew Gardens pond le swan kooda sernthu neechal uh huh.
crying Dhanam - consoling athai - daddy gander comes,
acts weird, raises the already boiling BP of Dhanam and athai.
Finally says "vaathu is alive" - after further probing the
"face change" issue is imparted to the ladies. ( hmm vaathu
kku yogam thaan !!! face face aa change pannikkitte porathu !!
apdiye oru brain transplant??? hmm, engalukku vidivu porakkum!!)
Photos are collected. DG says that the house has to be pledged.
Dhanam agrees. DG leaves. Paythiya kara doctor comes to meet the
Commissioner - requests for protection for vaathu as the
enemies might make another attempt. C says that they have a plan -
muted talk - Roja pizhaichaa !! C wants the doctor to convince
vaathu's family. DG , GG with his wife etc., etc., come home -
TV news - announcement "Vaathu is dead" DG cries...all are shocked
( aww ithu thaan plan aa?? So, Soma will gloat and come out of
hiding??? Kokku thalai le vennai?? ennavO pOngappa...)

Patsy's Tuesday - all hers - no claims !!

Vishu, Ganesh, Porkodi and Selvam are shocked at hearing about Kasthuri's murder in the evening news. Dr. Rajasekar comes down and tells them it is a ruse to bring out the culprits. Tells them Kasthuri will be going to London for another face transplant and that he will take care of all expenses and will accompany her. He also promises to bring Kasthuri back alive and well. Soma and his man, Mohan rejoice at the news of Kasthuri's death.

Thanam and Vasuki athai are at the temple praying for Kasthuri's well being. Thiru awakes in his hospital bed and walks our wandering. Looks like his memory is still nowhere to be found!.

Wednesday - Patsy has a date with the love of her life !!!

Thiru walks out o his room and wanders. A nurse sees him and takes him in. Doctor comes in and examines him and asks where he will go if he is discharged. Thiru just looks at her. Dr. asks him to meditate and leaves. Thiru asks or his name and Dr. tells him she doesn't know. She tells him a forest officer found and admitted him.

Nandini (new face), forest officer goes to temple and prays. Tells priest and another friend her father has retired early and will come back to live with her in the village. Priest tells her everything will be well.

Banu's mother complains Banu is not doing any housework. Banu says she wants to enjoy before going to the in-laws. Brother comes in with samples or Wedding invitation and gives to her. Bharath comes in and the samples are handed to him and asked him to choose. Mother complains about her children going beyond their means on expenses and wants Bharath to talk to them. Bharath looks on wordless. THODARUM.

A total waste of half an hour.

Bharath with his friend and his sister and their mother. Friend and sister want an expensive wedding, so mother wants Bharath to mediate. Bharath wants the wedding to be stopped, mom, Bhanu and Raja want to know why, so he finally tells them that this Thyagu is the one responsible for Jayanthi's pregnancy. Mom curses Bhanu for being unlucky and says she is doomed to stay single, Bhanu suddenly goes to a room and locks herself inside. By the time Bharath and Raja force open the door, she has already hanged herself. Bharath wakes up, it is all a dream. Phew! Now he cannot decide what to do - tell the truth and let Bhanu suffer, or keep quiet and let Jayanthy suffer. He decides that Jayanthy is suffering anyway and she can manage, so he will keep quiet for Bhanu's sake. (What an idiot and what an idiotic decision!)

Ooty hospital - Forest officer comes to see the doctor. She says Thiru has lost his memory, but can do everything else like reading and driving. She also tells him there is a thin line between memory loss and insanity, and to keep him from becoming emotional, or he may become insane. He wants to advertise in the papers, TV etc., but she says that his enemies will then know that he is still alive, so she advises him not to do so. He says he is retiring and will take Thiru with him to his village. Doctor praises him for his generosity.

Dhanam is sitting and worrying. Her husband phones and asks her to come home because her son is sick and has to be taken to the doctor.

Forest officer goes to Thiru's hospital room. T is meditating and then says that he still does not have his memory. FO advises him to be patient. FO tells him that he is retiring and will take him to his village. Thiru says that he does not want to be an imposition any more.

RKO with the new face?

FRIDAY 9th OCTOBER 2009 Updates

The forest officer convinces Thiru to stay with his family. The dr.wishes Mr.X the very best - aamaam, idhu periya marma thodar.. Mr. Xaam .. .

Dhanam comes to her athai's place after initial kusalams they discuss about no calls from DG. A call from the psych doc Thamizharasan who accompanied vaathu to London. Dhanam talks to him and the doc says sattaya (Face) maathiyaachchu.. seekiram vandhuduvOm...

Forest Officer's wife donates some used clothes to an orphanage through a lady Manga. F.O's wife takes aarathi for him. F.O.Introduces Thiru to his wife Shanbagam...Forest Officer asks for Nandhini who has gone to the temple. Thiru is shown to his room upstairs.

Dr.Thamizharasan, Ganesh & Selvam (Porkodi's brother) praise Kasthuri on their ride back from the airport. Kasthuri wants to meet her father first. They drive on to VMPatti where Dhanam is waiting for them.. vazhi mEl vizhi vaithu !! DG has gone on a temple trip to pray for vaathu. They are yet to show the new face - suspenseaam... think dusky beauty is back... Athai hears the car and comes and takes aarathi.. very happy she is.. calls for Dhanam.. they show the eyes of the new face asking Dhanam yaaru nee.. Easwari Rao is back in the old one jadai vaathu get up...

Ok, old vaathu is back - we will be treated to the old quack quacks.
Vaathu hugs her sister - pasa mazhai neram ( Rojjjjjaaaa vendam,
unnale mudiyatta , close your eyes - siblings mele kannu vaikkathe !!! -
updater Roja snorts "vaichuttalum..") Banu's house - wedding plans in full
swing - Bharath promises to take care of every thing . Thiru in his new
abode - recalls being beaten , nothing more. Nandini (Forest officer's
daughter) is appointed as his yoga teacher. Bharath meets Banu's
fiance and says that he better marry Banu -"let Jeyanthi go to hell"
( enna logic O??? Rojaaaaa Eljay words ellam nee use pannine....
kolai vizhum !!) VM Patti Queen goes on " Nagar Ula" - meets her
kudi padaigal ...converses ... and that sick BG .... ( enna le mudiyalai
da Samy !!!! )

Patsy - vaanga vaanga old vaathu !! Tuesday

Vishu returns and Thanam shows him Kasthuri. Vishu is happy to get back his old Vaathu. Everyone is very happy. Sindha cutting vegetables and one of her busybody neighbor comes and starts asking about Mangai and Bharath. Sindha somehow sends her off. Bharath returns and Sindha is veryhappy. She apologizes for their mistake.

Mangai returns and another round of apologies. They tell Bharath about Jayanthy absconding in the night without their knowledge. At Vaathu's house, everyone is asleep except Vaathy who thinks about Balu's call - that Thiru did not die in an accident but was killed by Soma's men.

Nandhini asks Thiru to meditate but he is unable to as he only gets flashback of the forest and hill. Forest officer comes there and Nandini tells him about Thiru's problem. Officer wants to name Thiru and gives him the name 'Suria' - Nandini is shocked. THODARUM'

Forest Officer decides to name Thiru as *Suria* and tells his daughter to continue with the yoga lessons. Selvam tries to find out if his sister is expecting, as he is eager to become an uncle. He asks both his sister and BIl but is unable to get answers. Raja and his family discussing preparation for Banu's wedding. Bharath arrives and asks i Jayanthi came there. They answer she did not. Bharath goes out looking or Jayanthi.

Kasthuri asks her father permission to go to Chennai and bring back Kavya. Vishu disagrees and forbids her to go. Kasthuri is adamant. Thanam and Vasugi attai arrive and Vishu tells them to talk to Kasthuri. Kasthuri tells then it is her duty to take care of Kavya and want to leave immediately. Vishu finally agrees and asks her to wait while he goes in to get something. THODARUM.
