Here's another development -- after the K. Sera Sera-Ashtavinayak tie-up -- that only confirms that the production sector is seeing better days.
Sony TV has inked a Rs. 17 crore deal with Subhash Ghai's Mukta Arts Ltd. vis--vis the satellite rights of five movies produced by the production house, to be released in the financial year 2006/07. The films include 36 CHINA TOWN, SHAADI SE PEHLE, GOOD BOY BAD BOY, APNA SAPNA MONEY MONEY and Nagesh Kukunoor's new project.
However, this deal will not include two mammoth projects that Mukta Arts Ltd. will start this year, which will be directed by Ghai and Abbas-Mustan, respectively.
