In this game, ya Pak was da stronger side...and lucky too
as key batsmen of India wre missing b'coz of their injuries whch was unlucky for us...and turned lucky for Pak
also Younis just recovered da injury before da match ....if our players wld have been present...then we cld say it was an equal competition 😉
PS:
atlast this is just cricket
as angelstar09 said..lets not turn this into a war, and maintain peace 😊
I used that word metaphorically, not literally. 😊You guys were missing some players? Lets see, we've missed Yousuf, our best batsman, for nearly 2 yrs as he went to the ICL..we didn;t have two of our world class bowlers - Asif or Akthar, and not to mention we had no Razzaq. and we haven't had Akthar or Asif in ages on our side, but hey, lets not make excuses/. India was currently the "no. 1 ranked ODI team" so, a no. 1 ranked odi team, can't beat any side, on any given day, regardless? hmm, strange isn't it? Also, don't know how a team can even be ranked as no. 1 in odi, without beating teams like SA or the Aussies in recent times. But anyways, lets leave it to that, saying "we didn't have such and such" is no excuse.
Now lets see who was actually showing some true spirit in this thread. 😛
I don;t think I made anything into a war, as far as I'm concerned the person who posted above me made it seem as if it's mere luck if you win a game. No it isn't. Appreciate a team's hard work when they win. I can assure you if India had won, instead of going "pakistan rocks, better luck next time" OR "it's all about luck 😉" I'd show my sportsman spirit and actually congratulate India on a comprehensive win. Why not congratulate the opposition, and give credit when it's due? I repeat again, you have to work hard in everything you do, luck is just a mere excuse at times. Pakistan actually worked hard to win, yesterday. Look at how many matches India has played recently, and how much cricket we've played. We've played way less games than you, so I'm going to feel proud of our team and not make it so simple as "mere luck" or whatever else someone else might want to call it.
So, in order to "maintain peace" lets all look at ourselves first and then point fingers, shall we? 😊
