I had mixed feelings while watching the episode...I was smiling ear to ear watching the RaDev moments, yet so many dark, ominous clouds were looming: Vishaka's re-entry...Amma's curses at Rads and devious plotting on how to stop the wedding...Devaki swinging like a pendulum once again...Vaishali's still tense expressions. But you are right. Most of us believed that Vish would be back
after RaDev's wedding and after failing in Bollywood. I'm taking it as a good sign that she seems to be a successful star. That means there are less chances of her being helpless and relying on Dev's family for monetary help or trying to work her way back into PB. Judging from today's episode, it seems Vish has money, success, and power and is very confident she made the right decision by running away to fullfill her dreams. She was also denying her background (that she is from Vrindavan) and seemed to show no interest in wanting to see her family (she brushed them off as being "some relatives"). Also, she was shown as being very, very snobbish and rude, not like someone who is sorry for what she did.
I have no doubt that Amma will try to bring Vish back into the home to try to stop the wedding. I'm praying that what you predict is correct and that Amma (and/or Vaishali) will be unsuccessful in bringing Vish back to stop the wedding. After watching today I feel that Vish could care less if RaDev get married. You are right...perhaps knowledge of the wedding is the closure she needs to finally get the whole ordeal out of her system. I'm using the word ordeal here because from Vish's point of view she never wanted the marriage in the first place, this is not the life she wanted. Dev once commented that as a result of his so-called marriage to Vish, three lives were ruined: his, Rads', and Vish's, so even our Dev understands where Vishaka's intentions truly lie and what she has really wanted all along. Initially I was upset to see Vish today, but after thinking about it and reading your post, I feel a bit better.
One thing is nagging at me though: what if Vish is somehow tied to the promise Dksh babu will undoubtedly ask of Rads later on?
The chudi jalaana scene was not shown today, they will probably address that tomorrow. Hopefully Rads saves those bangles from the fire and walks into the ceremony with her kaliyan full of them and takes her place next to a beaming Dev...
Hopefully this is the last major vign as you said...
One last thing I want to say: after yesterday's episode, I understood how necessary this second wedding ceremony is for Rads' self-esteem. What she said to Nandu yesterday made a lot of sense. She absolutely needs to be married to Dev publicly and be recognized as his wife by society in order to truly move on from her past heartache and survive and be strong at PB. She was traumatized during the first wedding so badly when all of her suhaag ki nishaniyan were ripped away from her. That scene still makes me cry buckets of tears! Rads' future survival really depends on this second wedding where she will not be in ghungat and the world will know that Dev is hers and she is Dev's! Just knowing that whole world knows she is the rightful Mrs. Dev RajPurohit will make her stronger. Obviously she can't tell the truth about the first marriage so the second marriage is what she is counting on to really take her rightful place.
