Our fav characters always keep disappearing all the time. Either RR is gone or Prashant is gone. We need both of them to make a good story.

What does this mean??

The writers must be typical MCPs of the highest order. One can insult one's wife but not a guest! It appears that Santu is better off with the status of a guest than a wife. Atleast no more scoldings from DM. What's more she even got him to fall at her feet (only if it was to perform a ritual). Hope the dialogue writers write better dialogues than this crap. A wife has her own honour and does not deserve to be insulted.

It doesn't make sense with his character either - there was a scene early on where he reprimands a villager for hitting his wife and gives some long-assed speech about respect yadda yadda.
