Wasnt he the guy who had bleeping words for Himani when she performed and then fainted?

Ideal mentor cursing his own students?

Wasnt he the initiator of the walk-out sessions, I mean wasnt he the first one to walk out a few months ago due to a spat with ID?

He is the most decent mentor of all... No damabaazi ever.. always says that if my students are singing well only then vote for them.... not like HR who tries love tricks or Ismail who always gets emotional and looses his cool...

AADESH IS THE BEST MENTOR and the MOST senior person in the music industry...

watch episode carefully specially last part of episode..

at end AS, ID , HR and gajji were shown in discussion , AS was shouting... see carefully... When himani was explaining abt walking out, he was quite bcoz he was having any ans for that... But when public said that debo is getting most from NE that time HR and AS both shouted... He has never appriciated debo... from begining...never when he sang excellent songs.. How can he be best?

A good teacher should set an example for students through his/her own actions and attitude...

As far as AS is concerned, he is hardly a role-model to follow:

1. Openly rude with the judges Khayyam and Kumar Sanu when Twinkle was chosen over Himani (what a great attitude? ). If anything, he should have considered himself lucky when Rajiv was selected over Abhijeet and Debu just before the Twinkle/ Himani decision

2. The first one to walk out of the show after arguing with ID regarding Joyeeta (Some commments against ID after that appeared in the press, and they were really objectionable)

3. Always had a sarcastic remark or two for ID or HR contestants before the agnipariksha (he was always after Vinit until only the last couple of rounds of agnipariksha)

4. Openly argue with other mentors when his contestants were in the receiving end, even when rightfully - eg. first round of agnipariksha when Rajiv selected a completely wrong scale to the extent that mentors decided not to even rate him, AS cooked up excuses I don't know on what basis...

5. Publicly criticized Lucky Ali directly during the fight with ID before and indirectly by saying that Paresh sang 1000 times better than the original singer.
He may not find Lucky Ali that great of singer or whatever, but at least show some respect for some1 who is established in the industry
(please correct me if I am wrong on this).

His style of mentoring might be good that he supports his students a lot, but on the other hand he really failed to teach respect...

Won't be surprised if he passed down some overconfidence and attitude problem to his students...

that's my opinion on him based on his interaction with every1 in this show, and other people are entitled to their opinion 😉

Note: I haven't mentioned anything about ID, HR or JL since this topic is about AS's mentoring only

One question to you ?

How would you justify AS's open appreciation for the Chamba lad ? That itself shows how sincere he was.

If Rajiv had been in ID's gharana, boy I swear Rajiv would have been shown the door by ID himself.

Rajiv was appreciated by not just AS and by everyone.. this question is baseless... He would have still appreciated Rajiv even if he was from anyother Gharana...

He is the Best out of HR/ID/JL. Given a choice of someother better person I would say that person is better... Its all a matter of relative ranking....

I felt he was the best in the given choices because he does not involve much in dramabaazi ...

friend, you are so very right !!!

I think his behavior on the show has something to do with the fact that he's the least successful of all the mentors on SRGMP. He tries to overcome this complex by using every opportunity to bash contestants of other gharanas while blindly supporting his own contestants !!

I agree that adesh was a good mentor.
But felt that neglected Hema towards the end(after final 7)..He was rooting 4 Himani to win..But could have supported still much to Hema(He agredd himself that he has taught only a bit to Hema,He(Hema) himself has a great heritage and culture)
