Good Topic Kanya.
Okay here goes:.....
Okay marriage is not a game, and it cant survive on love alone.
Love cannot make a married life work and succesful, coz one day or the other, misunderstandings and arguments will occur. It happens with every maried couple.
For a succesful maried life, Trust, Bonding and Undersatnding is needed.
I think Nupur is being too hasty. she's only looking at the nice side of mariage.
But she needs to see that with marriage, there are a alot of responsibiles that need to be fulfilled.
Neither of them is ready for marriage yet, they are 19 year old college students after all.
Mayank is right in stalling, as he's looking at the future and not present. he is neither financially independant, nor ready to commit to such big responsibilites. I dont think any 19 year old guy will be ready for marriage yet!
Mayank needs to be independant, mentally, and financially. He cant expect his mother to pay for them, and i dont think he wants her to either. He's responsible yes, but not mature or responsible enough to look after a family.
Until both of them have settled careers, i dont think they will be able to look after a family, nor pay for house groceries, bills etc.
Marriage can happen Yes, but not at 19, even 19 years old tend to be imature regarding marriage, thats why most marriages at young age end up in divorce.
Mayank's right in delaying all this, coz he's thinking about their tomorrow, while nupur is thinking of today.
Theres nothing wrong in living in the present, but she's only saying cos theres the two them only.
However tomorrow when they have kids, they need to be responsible and mature enough to take on the role as a father-mother. Both have to be financially stable, so that they can afford to look after teh kids, pay for house and all.
Like i said, there is nothing wrong with marriage and nor am i saying dont get married,
But with marriage comes responsibiliy, dont forget.
Thanks.
ps- sorry for the long essay. =D
