PART 1
" All of you are requested to fasten your seatbelts and once again welcome aboard." Nupur bhushan, a flight attendant, at yet another flight gets to work. Working in the " Air France" for almost a year now, she still didn't feel that she had achieved her dream. Well, to be quite practical, serving people in the first class isn't supposed to be anyone's dream. But she had made wrong decisions and chosen the wrong things and now she was stuck here. She was stuck in a job in which she had to smile even though she wanted to strangle the person in front of her. She had to be at her best behavior. She had to respect the people who did not deserve one bit of it, and had to transform herself into a slave and serve her so called annoying "masters". She used to often mentally kick herself for choosing this stupid job over him. He was heart broken when she said she had to leave. He probably hates me now, she thought. But how she wished he would take her back. Take her into his arms and kiss her lips, which were thirsty for his. " it is too late now", said nupur to herself. One of the passengers distracted her from her thoughts by calling on to the flight attendant by pushing the button. She plastered a fake smile on her face and walked up to the seat to see what 'difficulties' her dear passenger was having. And if it was a kid fooling around AGAIN then she would strangle him! No'. that would be too harsh she thought. Ok so maybe she would strangle herself and say goodbye to this cruel world. She took a deep breath and finally approached the passenger having difficulties'. Difficulties, my arse.
" Is there a problem, sir?" I say as politely as I can to the man who was hiding his face behind the business magazine he was reading. He looks up at me and makes my smile disappear with an expression of utter shock replacing it. It was him. It was Mayank Sharma! He looked so damn different'. And' and'. Professional! I mean he is wearing a tie and look at those glasses! Even how hard this guy tries he can never look like a "geek". How does he manage to look so friggin' hot even in this' wait. Does he even remember me?
What in the world is she doing here? Wait a second, mayank. You know she's an air hostess. Of course she will be found in a place like this. And how can you forget this fact? She left you for this "profession" of hers. Get a grip on yourself dude. She means nothing to you. Especially after what she did to you. How she left you. Just act as if you don't know her. Act professional. She is supposed to serve you anyways.
M ' "yes, actually there is a problem. I expected the attendants to be more responsible for the first class passengers but I can clearly see that it is not what is happening. I have been waiting to give out my coat, which should have been taken care of long ago but I believe your service is too slow. I will make sure I don't take this flight the next time I travel"
Nupur stares at him with confusion then anger. Her changing expressions didn't go unnoticed by mayank. Well, obviously she was confused because he didn't even mention anything about seeing her after a whole year! What were you expecting anyways, nupur? What did you think? That he would jump up in joy and hug you? Or would he be so pleased to see someone who left him for the very same job she was doing right now?
N- " sure, sir." Says nupur with another plastered smile on her face. " anything else you'd like?" she asks.
M- " you can go now, nupur." He says looking back into his magazine.
N ' " I'm so sorry for the inconvenience which was caused to you, sir. I hope the rest of our flight serves you in the best possible way. I'll make sure you don't have to face any more difficulties" I say and quickly walk away as I see a total uninterested look on his face.
ok, so he does remeber you because he said your name but he is totally ignoring the face that we love each other! Whatever happened to his promise "forever and ever"! well, it was you who broke it in the first place, thought nupur.
