Now that they showed Shankar joining hand with Ambika and knows everything about her plans, the creatives should show a reason for it, like flashbacks of their young days, maybe Shankar loved Ambika.......
Think of it, he is a servant in the house, how he would put his work in the house, aur woh bhi Rajvansh house without strong reason, he doesn't seem like coz he feel sympathy for Chotti Maa, in this case he should feel sympathy for Aalekh who has nothing to do with all this, but he seems doing this for love........
