Not without my van
Trust Salman Khan to get his way when confronted with the unnecessary bureaucracy at Yash Raj Films. They don't allow star vanity vans but had to bend the rule on Salman's insistence
Salman Khan is the special celebrity judge on the inaugural episode of the second season of Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega. The episode was shot last week at the Yash Raj studios and Salman had a good time during his shoot. The production crew was not having much fun though, as the studio had to bend rules for Salman because star vanity vans are now allowed on the YRF premises. Only for Salman, they made an exception.
A source from Wizkraft, the producers of the show said, "Basically, YRF studios have this rule that any actor, big or small, who shoots at YRF, has to leave their van outside the studio and use the make-up rooms.
However Salman Khan does not believe in rules. He wanted to have his van at his disposal at the studio. He spoke to the production guys and categorically made his stance clear. Incidentally, a couple of years ago, he had left without shooting when his van was not allowed inside the studio.
So, the channel and the production house spoke to some senior people about his wish and the studio reluctantly agreed."
The spokesperson at YRF did not comment on the incident.
